Crawford Texas: Secret Service Refuses Anti-War Letter
To Bush; Takes Pro-War Items
Free Press International
by Greg Ericson
8.21.2005
Mimi Evans, spokeswoman for 'Military Families Speak Out'(mfso.org) in Crawford, Texas is reporting that the Secret Service refused their anti-war letter addressed to President Bush but they did take items from the pro-war people there.
NBC News was in Camp Casey this morning but they left today leaving no mainstream media present.
Camp Casey is now comprised of two camps -- one 3 miles away from the Bush Ranch and the other camp is a mile away.
There are about 100 people there now.
Country rock singer Steve Earle performed there this morning with 60's folk singer Joan Baez scheduled to perform tonight.
Author, Liz Carpenter, who served under three President's is expected to arrive in Crawford soon to support the anti-war activists.

From a nation of 300 millions the left wing traitors could not get more than one hundred people to protest at Crawford. And the delusional left wing media call it "the tipping point" that will change the nation attitude toward the war. They are pathetic beyond belief.

do u have some more proof to that claim? neil young has always been a commie
No I do not. I do know as a fact the Santa Cruz politburo and other quizzlings have hated him ever since he published that song... and the golf event at Pebble Beach where he was rubbing elbows with some (gasp) Republicans.

> Well, isn't Neil Young suffering from some brain disorder... He was treated for a brain aneurysm back in April. The news was posted April 1 but it was no joke. I haven't read much about it since, but I hope he's better. http://www.cnn.com/2005/SHOWBIZ/Music/04/01/neil.young/

Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner--
Of course they're abandoning Camp Casey. If they didn't they'd have to report on the Pro-Bush, Pro-Troops rally that is happening and they'd have to report on the caravan that is arriving next weekend. They don't want to do that so they'll just pretend nothing is happening.

I am NOT going to listen to that dreary depressing guy to see how many people weren't there.
Give me an estimate, please.

And the delusional left wing media call it "the tipping point" that will change the nation attitude toward the war. Right. They are kidding themselves, this big uproar they expected has been nothing more than a tiny squeek.
They are pushing it like it's the biggest story of 2005. Yet, in reality, it wasn't fit to be the biggest story of the day.

To me it looked like about 30, maybe a bit more.

'If the promoters were doing this correctly, they'd have Duran Duran, Billy Idol and Wang Chung play at this concert.'
I think these guys are smart enough to avoid this sort of thing...at least two of the aforementioned (Duran Duran and Billy Idol) have released new albums within the past year and were currently touring. The last thing I think they want is a Linda Ronstadt type backlash. I believe her latest album may have flopped due to her antiwar and anti-Bush, anti-Christian Republican rantings during and after the 2004 election.

As far as the news departure. I think the Freepers ran 'em out of Dodge.

If I have to listen to some Bob Dylan wannabe, I'm gonna hurt somebody.
Looking at some of those people, I wouldn't be caught dead around them anyway.

Sometimes I wonder how can someone be that wrong all the time. The left wing liberals and their media whores have been proven to be stupid in a way that has shocked even those of us who already consider them total fools. Not a single analysis nor a single prediction these kooks have made in the last five years was correct. And they wonder why they are losing one election after another.

True, but Americans are not that dumb. Only in the DUmmies world where they have to keep each other on the upbeat by constantly making them feel important. I remember hearing "Kerry is going to win by a landslide!" And guess what? I do believe George Bush is our president. They tried to smear the hell out of him and it just doesn't work anymore. When they push, American pushes back.
