Mimi Evans, spokeswoman for 'Military Families Speak Out'(mfso.org) in Crawford, Texas is reporting that the Secret Service refused their anti-war letter addressed to President Bush but they did take items from the pro-war people there.
NBC News was in Camp Casey this morning but they left today leaving no mainstream media present.
Camp Casey is now comprised of two camps -- one 3 miles away from the Bush Ranch and the other camp is a mile away.
There are about 100 people there now.
Country rock singer Steve Earle performed there this morning with 60's folk singer Joan Baez scheduled to perform tonight.
Author, Liz Carpenter, who served under three President's is expected to arrive in Crawford soon to support the anti-war activists.
If she comes back, they will come back
Heh heh...that about sums it up.
True, but in less force.
How the Leftists must miss the good ol' days when the Secret Service only shielded the door so Shrillary couldn't interrupt the Philanderer-in-Chief's dress-painting sessions.
That was the longest 15 mins. ever....
love andy
Who's Joan Baez?
I pray her 15 minutes is now up!
I know what you mean. I'm surprised Neil Young, David Crosby or any other 1960s era fossil didn't join in on the fun. I'm sure they're not too far behind though.

The Revolution Starts Now
This is just like the anti-Vietnam protests. The protesters protest so long as the cameras are recording.
Even longer than that downing street memo bull?
What'll they think of next?
Well, isn't Neil Young suffering from some brain disorder, David Crosby is a transplant survivor and the rest are probably dead. Unable to attend... I think Baez is brought out of the home to perform on 'special' occasions..hahaha..
Of course they're abandoning Camp Casey. If they didn't they'd have to report on the Pro-Bush, Pro-Troops rally that is happening and they'd have to report on the caravan that is arriving next weekend. They don't want to do that so they'll just pretend nothing is happening.
Maybe it's was the smell of all those freshly washed bodies :)
What do they serve with meals? Geritol?
Funny how that happens, isn't it? Nope, no media bias here, none at all. We can't even count on FOX anymore since it turned into the Aruba channel.
Thanks for that, I think.
Man, what a depressing bunch--if twenty or so people can be called bunch.
I don't mean to be cruel, but it looked like the rec room at some Happy Dale institution for the feeble-minded.
And of course, that's sort of what it is.
That is the most pathetic looking group (not enough to call it a crowd) that I have ever seen. These guys have been sitting around in a ditch for more than a week and this was the best they could do.
