A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY

Welcome to TGIF at the Finest! We hope you've been having as much fun as we have with our essays and/or spotlight on various FReepers. From the beginning, we've been kicking back on Saturdays and Sundays and simply reviewing the features of the week; our weekend threads now start on Friday and continue through Sunday. You have a point there.
Hubby is currently outside, moving the pool, yet again. He has finally found a level spot in the yard for it.
Actually he is putting it in the spot he originally wanted to put it, that after I busted my ankle vetoed because it is on the west side of the house, which is impossible for me to get to on crutches. It is only 3 feet deep, but I cna't let child and friends play in it without supervision and so I wanted it on the east side ........but that didn't work, nor did the north side.

Well,I know what you mean, after all someone can drown in only a table or is it teaspoon of water.
One can never be to cautious when it comes to water and kids.
I take it that you get around better now and that you will be able to make it to the West side of the house to watch your precious daughter and her friends while they enjoy the pool.

No one will be in the pool unless one of us is out there to watch them. Worst case scenario, when my girlfriend comes over to drop her kids off, I'll have her drive me over there to sit and watch them :)
It wouldn't be a problem if my husband would get my car running, I have no qualms about driving from one end of the yard to the other.

You must have a big yard if you can drive from one end to the other.
I am sorry to hear that she can't use the pool every day.
You should get a motorized scooter,so you can watch her.:)

We do have a large yard - it's 2 acres :)
She's going to be at Bible school/camp next week and daddy's on vacation the following, so she'll be able to use the pool every day. And I'm supposed to have my cast off the week he's on vacation. (Fingers majorily crossed on that)

That is wonderful.I'll be praying that you will get your cast off that week so you can enjoy the pool as well.
Just make sure you take it easy the first few days um weeks without the cast.
Did your hubby move the sowing machine of the floor?

oh.. that was your poochie you told us about that had "disappeared" while you were on your trip.. sorry. My mind can't keep all straight that I wish.
such good news... hope he is okay. probably mooched, stole food /water along the way.
