Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997.   Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.

A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay or a profile of another FReeper.

Welcome to TGIF at the Finest!   We hope you've been having as much fun as we have with our essays and/or spotlight on various FReepers. From the beginning, we've been kicking back on Saturdays and Sundays and simply reviewing the features of the week; our weekend threads now start on Friday and continue through Sunday. While he roamed, marked terrain and wandered

One day became two while Amy became quite blue
On day three, Louie turned himself around
Ignoring sights and sounds around him strange and new
Louie heard something primal, a sound not of the town
Something he hadn't heard since he was just a pup

Louie strode through the third night without fear
Through streets and yards as his home drew slowly near
Louie's a good boy, we all agree
Since we first saw him at Amy's knee
He's just discover the Strength and Power of a Mother's tears.

When we were stationed in Germany, Hushpuppie started and ran a USO Canteen for the soldiers and family members of our area. And, this was no small task either! She did a fantastic job too! She also served as a newsletter editor for the region. Yep...this was awhile ago...before the days of the internet. Yes ma'am, she made one fantastic Army Wife!!

Wow!!! We are happy to have BOTH of you here with us!

We sure do love our military and our veterans, and we love everyone who has an appreciation for the great job they have done over the years to keep us safe and free.

When we got home after the rally, it was too late to start answering pings. Forgive me??? **smooch**

LouieMax and Millie are happy to be together again. Millie hasn't even let him know yet who is top dog. :)

I'm sure we will keep Junior. I really didn't want him but hubby didn't take him to SPCA while Marissa and I were running around with the Bear.

Marissa had named him before we left. When we got home, she gave him a big hug and told him how much she had missed him. How can we not keep the scroungy little guy?

I do not know what kind a person would drive into the country and kicked a little guy out of the car in the hope that he will find a home. When he showed up the temps were about 106. No way could we turn him away; he needed some water and something to eat.

Open doors.
Carry heavy things.
Mean it. My word is my bond.
Make a living.
Live your beliefs.
Abolish government. Smaller is better.
Do unto others.
Smile.
Be responsible.
Expect resistance.

My kinda guy......and just like the one I married. :-)
