The family of a Marine who was killed in Iraq is furious with Lt. Gov. Catherine Baker Knoll for showing up uninvited at his funeral this week, handing out her business card and then saying "our government" is against the war.

Asked to comment on Goodrich's complaints about Knoll's conduct at the funeral, the aide said that "would be inappropriate."
Knoll's behavior was inappropriate--no, absolutely outrageous. I am incensed at this--I had no idea this had happened, and it took place in a church not 3 miles from my home. She will definitely hear from me.

The Lt. Governor went to this soldier's funeral uninvited and handed out a business card saying "this government is against the war"? If I was a member of that family, I wouldn't rest until this person was forced to resign.

I think a couple of good Marines should have "escorted" her to the door and then thrown her out it! And preferbly down the steps on her,...something or her face.

She said she is going to seek an answer from Gov. Ed Rendell's administration if it opposes the fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.Fast Eddie Rendell was the one who fought like hell to prevent military absentee ballots from being counted in the last election. He backed off once his scheme got some public attention.
