The point to be made about the Iraq invasion (and subsequent silly attempts at democratization) is NOT that it's causing these attacks, but that it was/is a waste of blood and treasure at best and is counter productive at worst.

I know most Muslims aren't evil or fanatical. The problem is, they've got this large underclass of (mostly) angry young men whom they can't control. Somehow these people have become the West's responsibility.

The blasts were minor, but it is a major incident for the disruption it caused...and they still are trying to find people it sounds like. I would think we would know by now if it was bio, but I can't say that for sure.

I would agree that if facts are knowable, it would be helpful to know them. However, political leadership thru public statements is altogether a different matter. Have you ever noticed that they don't make cheerleaders or waterboys into head football coaches?

I think Embassy closing is purely precautionary as this point.
