You guys are so wrong about "us", the "anti illegal immigrant people". We don't hate people who defend this country, did you not see HiJinx on here praising the people defending our country? We're not racists, we don't hate people of any color. We are just trying to make sure there is a legal entry with background checks and in my personal opinion, a selected and regulated entry based on needs as far as jobs are concerned. No open door policy.
Do we want the dredges of other societies? NO! No terrorists, no MS-13, no Al Qaeda! Do we want another country (as in Vincente Fox and Mexico) to dictate our policies? NO!
If I'm not mistaken, I think HiJinx's wife is from a Latin background. We don't care!!
Personally, I think we should be bringing in more immigrants from Africa, we have done little or nothing as a country to help Sudan. If anyone deserves better, they do!
We only want that there is a regulated immigration policy allowing people here that WANT to be Americans and choose to assimilate into our society.
I don't want rich and greedy American's to forsake our security and sovereignty to make another dollar. That's where I think we might differ. Is it so important to make a dollar that we give up our sovereignty and our safety to make the almighty dollar?
I think that's where we differ from the OBL people. We have more integrity, :^). As O'Reilly says, "what say you?".
Oops, netiquette requires since I mentioned your name in #41, I should have copied you. Sorry.
I appreciate the ping. You're right, she's second generation Italian. My daughter-in-law is the Mexican/Spanish mix. I love them both dearly.
And I hate being painted with a wide brush. Thanks for unloading.
You know, I'm a Navy Reserve Chief Petty Officer, and I have yet to see any little gray guys with big eyes in uniform.
It is because you are in the Navy sir. A quick look indicates that all the lil' gray dudes with marble eyes are in the airforce and the army. For example our lil' friend here in the Apache helicopter (I think the army borrowed him from the airforce ....he was originally supposed to be flying the Aurora, but the Army needed him for some spare AH-64s lying around that needed pilots with 2 pairs of arms):
Utter bulls**t. Lost me right there. Next................
If we could entice all of our illegal immigrants into the armed forces, we could create a couple of reconstituted divisions; and if could entice 20,000 Gurkhas over here, we could have one of those divisions too. Can you imagine the 56th Infantry Division (Gurkhas) and the respect a "GURKHA" tab would have atop an Army shoulder patch? It would also be good to re-establish a USMC unit organized soley with Samoans like we did in WW II - fierce, respected fighters. Wonder how the 97th Tactical Gurkha Fighter Wing would fare. . . . .
whats a "Gurkha" ?
BTW, nothing against legals who join.
GHURKAs are the warriors the British recruited from Nepal and India; go to
http://www.army.mod.uk/brigade_of_gurkhas/
and you will get the whole story.
They carried knives called kukries which you can look at http://www.m4040.com/Survival/Ghurka/History%20of%20the%20Ghurka%20Kukri.htm - awesome knife. A Gurhka gave me one which I still have.
Spelling of Ghurkas, Gurkhas is random at best. There is more. . . .
gurkhas is the english version of Gorkha which is the kingdom that unified nepal. Gorkhalis are all from nepal.
Kool, they look awesome !
Where did you get the notion that "Green Cards" were secure form if ID? "Pvt. Juan Escalante was four when his parents brought the family into the country illegally from Mexico. Upon graduating from Chief Sealth High School in 2002, Escalante bought a fake U.S. residency card so that he could enlist."
http://capmag.com/article.asp?ID=3157
"And they do a background check to assure nothing is faked. "
David McSwane's claim of being a dropout didn't discourage his recruiters either. He was encouraged to take a high school equivalency diploma exam, which McSwane deliberately failed. That's when he said one recruiter introduced him to the "home-school option."
McSwane was told to order a phony diploma and transcripts from an online diploma mill.
"It can be like Faith Hill Baptist School or something - whatever you choose," one of the recruiters can be heard saying in a taped phone call.
Several days and $200 later, McSwane became a proud graduate of Faith Hill Baptist High School in Longmont.

The Israelis realized it is folly to place women on the front lines.
:)
Unfortunately we can't go back.
1. Politically it would be suicide for he who attempts to change things now, even if now we are having all the so called "dreamed up" chauvinistic theories come true. Failed family care plans, non-deployable pregnant females, females who can't execute their job because the job requires close work with a Muslim ally, rape, lower retention rates among women than males. All those "chauvinistic", "bigoted", "sexist" theories are now bubbling to the surface for real. But just the mention of any problem can already get you in trouble.
2. We are an all volunteer force. The Army cant make its quota anymore and is already cooking the books to make things look better than they are (Include delayed entry personnel in the statistics and shazam- over night the Army went from a 20% deficit a month ago, to making its quota on recruits). Females make up a substantial part of our manpower today (I believe around 17% in the Army). The Army simply cant do without them.
Red6
Then we have lost already.
Who's the idiot that allowed that situation to develop..
Mercenaries?.. The odds of them being for a free republic are minimal.. since they are probably democrats anyway.. Whats the payoff, citizenship, money, both.?.. If we cannot get enough citizens to enlist this free republic is screwed..
