[history]
July 7, 2005 U.S. authorities tell ABC News that British police have recovered two unexploded bombs from the scene of the terror attacks in London.
In addition, British investigators say that parts of timing devices have been recovered from the blast scene that would have been used to detonate an explosive device. This could provide evidence that would help determine who was behind the attacks, sources told ABC News.

According to the DUers, Bush's fingerprints are all over the bombs, a huge plot to distract everyone from the GUILT of the evil KKKarl Rove!

I had a CB and a license. Most of my friends on the CB band had licenses too. Scofflaws are common. I have no pity on them when the FCC discovers and prosecutes. The damn license was free with the exception of a postage stamp and 1 minute to fill out the form.

Are you always this way?
I'm not afraid to defend my views if thats what you mean.
To: Arkinsaw
But do you always tenaciously defend 'views' that have little or no relevance to real life?

the cell phones were likely overwhelmed with callers....like after the earthquake here in CA....all circuits busyI had the same problem trying to get a call thru on 9/11. Considering I was in WV at the time didn't help my chances much, either.....

A couple of things.......
Having read a few of the post at the D.U. I am convinced that Savage is right, liberalism is a mental disorder. I have no other explanation for them.
Also.
Imagine the possible implications of the date of the London attack "7/7"
I heard today mentioned that these attacks were due to terrorist tactics being perfected in Iraq. One even mentioned that the terrorist got better at urban warfare in Iraq.
I dont know about anyone else but as I recall from my days in the green machine that urban warfare did not include bus bombs and attacking civilians.
Oh and before I forget.....
When was the last time "Iraqi insurgents" blew up a train? Also, correct me if I am wrong but I recall Bus Bombs being the preferred method of terrorist long before we invaded Iraq.

Excellent points, all.
Facts that don't matter one whit to the leftists who want to blame everything on the President and Iraq.....

Words mean things, I don't care for spin that obfuscates meaning. Thats real life enough for me.

LOL! I guess we need a little distraction on this sad day!
Maybe Jim can put up a poll on the preferred word for Freepusage. I vote for (and use) homicide bomber. "Suicide bomber" reminds me too much of the immolators that used to be the protests of some intent on suicide, not murderers.

This morning about 7:30 a.m. Eastern US Time Fox TV was talking about 5 or 6 explosions. Later in the day there was talk about 2 unexploded devices. The latest info I've seen says 4 bombs exploded. Is it just a coincidence that someone "thought" there were 5-6, or did someone know the total number without knowing that two would not explode? Who told the media there were 5 or 6?

It's a dang shame we should have to pull out propaganda posters from the past. I'm not ditching on you at all, inkling, this is a cool poster. My point is why aren't there some super cool posters, billboards, pamphlets, TV ads, movies, etc.? When did propaganda become a bad thing/word?

Maybe by calling it a well thought out attack is an attempt to hide the fact that anyone could do this at pretty much any time. When did it became bad to call a spade a spade?

You gave up and yet he demands that you use his word, OR ELSE!!!
Where did you come up with that? I believe I said he can use any word he wants in my post...just that that one will never gain widely accepted usage because it is not anywhere near as descriptive as the original.
To: maica
Maybe Jim can put up a poll on the preferred word for Freepusage.
I am quite certain that it would win a poll here, but a popularity poll still can't make it more descriptive of the technique used than the original and won't make it become the generally accepted term. No more than "War of Northern Aggression" will ever become standard usage just because its more popular on an SCV forum.

What are the implications of 7/7? I have wondered uf there was a pattern with 9/11, 3/11, and 7/7. Plus, someone mentioned the time is always the same. Perhaps if there was a pattern that someone knew the next one could be prevented somehow?
To: maica; Arkinsaw
You gave up and yet he demands that you use his word, OR ELSE!!! I know...............which makes me wonder if the word itself is not at the heart of the matter.
Words DO mean things, and I wonder if there isn't some hidden meaning in his obstinacy about this particular word........

I almost wonder if the first guy wasn't given a time, and then the others were told to pick out the best target and go.If true, these are some seriously frickin' dangerous amateurs. When the Brits find out where the explosive material came from, this could end up being bigger than Al Kida.

I hope this leads to the capture/killing of those that planned it, financed it, etc.
