stupid is as stupid does..You got that right.
And he said people can "smoke on the sidewalks." Well what smoker in their right mind will want to spend their money in a smoke free bar and restaurant! Not to mention the smoke free hotels.

Hitlery would have gotten all the credit if NY got it. Let's see if she gets any blame for losing it. Her sticking her beak in apparently backfired. I was hoping France got it just because of the huge target the site will be for terrorist. I hope no harm comes to anyone, but i'd rather it be them than us.

Bwahahahah, pantsuit lady denied. I guess Hillary forgot to grab the FBI files of the members that comprised the Olympic Committee on the way out of the White House.
How else can you explain the snub of the smartest woman known to all of mankind.

Im sitting on pins and needles waiting to see whom Chirac will blame for losing the Olympics. He certainly wont blame himself. He will be the victim of some outside nefarious plot.

I am so happy for our British Cousins today!
Fabulous news.

Same issue when I was there back in 98. Strikes caused major problems in attending a scientific meeting. I vowed never to return. The lazy frogs only work 35 hours/week (attend the office, not necessarily working) and get 8 weeks vacation/year. Strikes seems to be a way of extending the vacation time for the frogs sunning themselves on the river bank.

Make them in shapes of frogs to let M. Chirac know how much he is appreciated? :)

Just looked at two large Associated Press (AP) stories about the Olympics and not a word about Hillarys loss.

Chirac should have kept his mouth shut about English food. Now all he can do is cry in his camembert.

If NY got it, the msm would have given hillary all the credit for it to boost her chances in upcoming elections.

Guess Hitlery didn't impress them much? Guess they can't recognize the smartest women on the planet when they see her.
Go London!

THen leave it up to the OWNER of the bar if he wants to make it a "smoking bar." Don't force your borgeouis yuppie "health concious" morality on business owners. That makes you a yuppie fascist like Bloomberg.
Oh, congratulations to London!

I am happy for London. As much as I like for the games to be in the USA, I think LOndon will be fine. Remember, since 1968, North America has had the Olympic Games 4 times. Mexico City in 1968, Montreal in 1976, LA in 1984, and Atlanta in 1996. We will get America to host the Olympic Games before too long.

Did I once mention health? No, actually I specifically ignored health, lest we debate the merits to health of smoking. There is an undeniable stench of smoke, that stench travels beyond the personal space of the smoker. Restarant owners simply were not offering establishments like that, there was no alternative. Now there is, and smokers can still smoke outside, where there is plenty of air to take away the smoke. It's more than fair, and I'm glad to see London is going to do this also.
