Did I once mention health? No, actually I specifically ignored health, lest we debate the merits to health of smoking. There is an undeniable stench of smoke, that stench travels beyond the personal space of the smoker. Restarant owners simply were not offering establishments like that, there was no alternative. Now there is, and smokers can still smoke outside, where there is plenty of air to take away the smoke. It's more than fair, and I'm glad to see London is going to do this also.

Yes that wonderful big city air, filled with every type of poison is so healthy and refreshing.......how about we ban cities so people in the country don't have breath your filthy city air?

If there is so much demand for "non-smoking" establishments, then the market will take care of it. Here in Seattle, we have "non-smoking" restaurants as the owners have chosen to do so.
