If Bush Doesn't Nominate A True Conservative, I'm Voting For Hilary For Presiden
Self | July 2, 2005 | JohnRobertson

Posted on 07/02/2005 7:53:49 PM PDT by John Robertson

I just realized...I mean that.

It's going to come down to this.

I have often argued, as many here have, that when FReepers said they would sit home rather than vote for (McCain, usually, sometimes Guiliani), that such sitting out would put Hilary in the Whitehouse.

But I'm not moving on this.

Voting for the LP or the CP sends NO messages whatsoever and all of you fringers should just adxmit that you really want the Dem, whomever the candidate is, to win, because you're helping them.

One has to wonder if the morons who voted for Nader in Florida in 2000 are pleased that they sent a message to the 'Rats and ended up with Bush for eight years -- BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! THANK YOU RALPH NADER VOTERS IN 2000!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Rather than vote for Hillary, I would like to encourage (and vote for, if possible) some honest-to-God conservatives in the democrat party. They would have to show NO party discipline to democrats, and vote the RIGHT way every time. It would put a little fear in the complacent RINOs, who have taken their 'conservative' credentials for granted too long. My vote will go to the best/most conservative, whatever party he/she is from.

If the Democrats were smart enough to run Zell Miller, they might have a serious chance. Instead, they chose Governor Dean to run the party, a man who truly exhibits loony left behavior, with maybe more emphasis on the "loony" than is common even for the far leftwing of the Democrats.

Bob Dole, incidentally, was ALWAYS noted for his ability to compromise when necesary. I don't think we'd find anyone here (other than the rejects from the Hitler Youth) that could find fault with Bob Dole's conservatism.

I'd heard once that the US military was on the verge of a coup d` etat vs President Nixon before he resigned.

The only coup d' etat against Nixon, was orchestrated by the dims and their willing accomplices in the leftist media. Nixon said it best, when he said "I gave them the ammunition"

All I will say on the topic is that I am willing to endure 4 years of a Democrat in office, if thats what it takes to remind the Republicans who put them where they are and how willing I am to take it away if they don't tow the line.

This is brain-dead thinking.

Brain-dead.

I guess I'm just not ready to sell out my [conservative] soul to Satan, as you apparently are, by mindlessly voting for the socialist-lite Republicans.

If a conservative constitutionalist doesn't get put on the court there really is no reason to vote again. The laws will be made from the bench and our legislatures will just be pawns no matter what party they are. We'll just have to wait for the start of the Revolution Party which, as things are going, won't be long in forming.

We might as well elect Hilary, because it won't make any difference.

No offense, John, but have you been, um...drinking?

If you are not able to discern between Hillary (which is how she spells her name) and G. Dubya, then perhaps a brief background sketch is in order.

You see, John, Hillary wants to turn the United States into a socialist Utopia.

She wants to choose your doctor. Is that what you want, John?

I suspect very strongly that she would like the U.N. to run our country, and that those who owned firearms would learn first hand about the word "confiscation".

When Hillary nominates a potential Supreme, instead of a "Constitutionalist" we would see more of a "Collectivist".

And you, sir, threaten to support her in an unfortunately petulant and demanding way.

No one, John, absolutely no one gets everything he wants in politics. I would hope that you reconsider your position.

.

No. What is "brain-dead thinking" is allowing a party to wave some member of the opposition party like a childhood boogeyman to scare you back in line everytime you are dissatisfied with their performance.

"If Bush Doesn't Nominate A True Conservative, I'm Voting For Hilary For President"

Then you're no better than what you're complaining about.

It amounts to screaming "if the fire chief doesn't put out the fire in my garage I'm going to pour gas on my house..."

Stupid is as stupid does...

I couldn't really vote for someone who gleefully raised taxes. BTW, the Republicans still haven't learned the lessons of 1992 (Bush's loss thanks to Perot voters). I think their stupidity level is pretty funny.

I cannot believe we have numbskulls on here that support Hillary to begin with

I stand by my statement -- anyone that supports Hillary or would vote for her for any reason is a numbskull in my book. Don't you find it odd that this person put up this vanity and hasn't replied to any of us?

I thought that Lyndon LaRouche was dead until they announced the results of the RAT primary here in Oklahoma and he received votes! :)
