Just wait until you see what the government does to those who have homes after what the Supreme Court did last week.
THAT'S IT, YOU'RE GONE!!!
Do you like Tater Tots?
America is the most generous country in the world. Instead of criticizing America, go and live in a socialist country where they should supposedly care more for the homeless and see what's going on over there. You won't find another country where they treat homeless people better than in America. Even the homeless dogs in America have better life than some people in other countries. Would you be a little more thankful for this country?
Do I read you right? Rich countries go to Hell, poor countries to Heaven?
So do middle of the road countries like South Korea or South Africa go to 'Country Purgatory'? And if the middle road countries aren't predominantly Catholic - then what?
And just what do you do? I work for an Advocacy Group and give my own fortune to the less needy. My electric bill is $75 a month because I live wayyyyyyyyy below my income to give to others.
It's my religious training that gives me this saying: "If you aren't living on the edge, you are taking up too much room."
It's my religious background that demands justice for the poor. I don't believe that justice, or ending poverty comes with the threat of government. That isn't Christian charity.
And just what do you give?
"I have finally found something to chew on with a higher IQ than you."
Quick! Post the addresses of John Kerry's five houses and help the homeless get to them! That should take care of homelessness for awhile.
you will not even give out a scrap to those who are on the streets begging for a living!
See, even YOU understand, they are "begging for a living".
It's THEIR job, it's a decision THEY make.
Now go away.
Oops, I see you already have.
No Alms today, don't even ask.
You obviously haven't looked at my tax liability and the social programs which I am forced to support. We are the richest country on earth due to the freedom we (used) to offer, alas, socialism has now taken over and your complaints, as misguided as they are, will soon be answered, to everyones detriment.
"orange_agent"? Is that a clever play on the "Agent Orange" that ran for President last year? You know, the billionaire that has several homes worth millions of dollars EACH and yet you want to take all of my money? Jen-jis, is that YOU??
No?
Gimme a minute -- you're still from Mass., but you live in a COMPOUND? You live in a compound yet you want to take all of my money? faTeddy, is that you?
No?
Last guess -- you live on the west coast, Malibu maybe (you know, one of those seaside mansions with all the fireplaces)? You've been living off of -- well, I don't know what, because you haven't had any kind of a hit in years, and rumor has it you barely graduated high school and now you expect to educate us on the finer points international politics -- you have plenty of guest rooms yet you want to take all of my money? Babs, is that you?
Go back to DiminutiveUnderparts, please.
In America the idea of a permanent poverty class is considered unAmerican. Or, a convenient political rant and campaign issue for Dems and other pseudo-liberals.
I think you were looking for the Democratic Underground. Your comments are misplaced.
Who do you think created the poor?
Idiot!
I hope that I might meet you some day in order that we could compare bank accounts.
I say lets pool the money in them and split it in half between us.
This is the essence of the BS that you espouse out here, and I say put your money where your mouth is. You won't, nor will your hypocritical icons in politics and in the media.
You lying bastardages.
