This Scientology gives me the creeps. However, this heavy-handed attempt at control might well alienate (no pun intended) Katie and cause her to change her mind about Scientology.

Scammintology is an ongoing, organized criminal enterprise and cult masquerading as a religion. The entire operation should be siezed, shut down, and its leaders imprisoned.

However, this heavy-handed attempt at control might well alienate (no pun intended) Katie and cause her to change her mind about Scientology. The whole thing is a sham designed to distract attention from the gerbil photos of Tom that an enterprizing Papparazzi has on his flash drive.

From
http://xenu.net/ A person loses the ability to think for themselves and so they lose the ability to challenge incorrect ideas....They end up being afraid of society, believing all society to be controlled by a group of drug companies, psychiatrists and financiers all of whom report to more remote masters. In other words they are in a state of mass paranoia. Sounds like the vast majority of DUers are scientologists.

It may be an Urban legend, but I've heard that on the net, if you critize/badmouth the CofSci you may find lawyers on your doorstep.
Could be wrong, but I've noticed lots of folks avoid using the 'real' name to keep from getting zinged.

In 1998, sources say, she attained membership in the "Sea Org" group, the highest stratum of Scientology, whose members commit to the church for life or, more specifically, a billion years.
When they die, the belief goes, their souls slip out of the body and float around seeking another to inhabit. Once that happens, they can serve the church over and over again in reincarnated states."She" in this snip is Jessica Rodriguez. She is nutso!!

If the story about a contract with Cruise is true, it could be her "conversion" is a fraud.

I bet Nicole Kidman would love to have a sit down with Katie, unfortuntely it never seems to do any good, the new one never believes the experienced one

That's what Scientology does. They get a convert and follow them to make sure that no one tries to "unconvert" them.

I don't think you're allowed to change your mind about scientology. And if you do, you aren't allowed to say so publicly.

Scientology = Star Trek for the dumb. It is compelete with UFOs. Nothing but a con for the weak minded and thick checkbook crowd. It isn't even a cult, just a scam.

I'm starting to not like Tom Cruise. He's been OK in some movies, but I'm starting to think he's a phony. Why is he getting remarried so quickly?
I know about the rumors, I'm starting to believe them.
Not that it really matters or is any of my business of course.
