Some case info to go along with this map...
(as far as I know this is all correct)

The Island is 6 to 7 miles deep by about 20 miles long

B-1 = California Lighthouse - where the boys claim they took her first after leaving the Bar.

D-3 = #4 is the location of the 2 Marriott Hotels - where the 2 brothers (and now Joran) claim they dropped Joran and Natalee off after leaving the lighthouse -  the 2 brothers claim they went home to Hooiberg after that.

D-3 = #19 is the location of the Holiday Inn where Natalee was staying.

G-5 = Where the red #2 marker is pointing to is the area that the Carlos & Charlie Bar is located

D-4 = Township of Montana is where Joran lives

F-7/8 = Hooiberg (Haystack Mountain) - The 2 Kalpoe brothers live in this area at the foot of the Haystack Mountian.

C-9 = By the Natural Bridge on the map is the location where the sharks hang out as they are fed at this location. This is the Shark Infested Feeding Area.

E-3 = Wetland in the Bird Sanctuary is the location where they found the Condoms/Condom Wrappers - Duct Tape (looked like black electrical tape to me) - Female Flowered Panties - and a String or Strap from a Bikini or Halter Top.

This sounds interesting and so far, as plausible as anything else. The father is acting awfully 'hinky' as the cops say. So I think there is something going on there. It would make a great TV mystery story.

I have to remind myself that we are talking about a real person. It's a horrible thing to happen in real life.

Just like they do in the movies, tell each one of them that the other is talking and it would go easier on him if he confessed. I can't believe one of them hasn't cracked yet. I thought they were talking when the local cops started questioning others and arrested Croes.

Although it's very possible since Daddy dearest is a judge in training, he told them the possibility of no conviction if the body isn't found. If they know she won't be found then they have no reason to talk/confess. This could have all been cooked up when they were set free in the beginning of the investigation. Big mistake IMO.

I think she thought she was going to the hotel.

some seem determined to smear this young woman. And leaving with a local, a young Dutch boy whose father is supposedly a judge, nice manners, etc, would be unwise but doesn't indicate she was going to stay out all night. And doesn't indicate she is loose. We know that some people do that but there is no indication this girl did not intend to go to the hotel and was entrapped.

Why would anyone be "curious" about the parents rushing down there when there are three young men who were last seen with her, one has a bad reputation, all three have lied and changed their story.

Well to do people can get a private plane quickly. Her stepfather I do believe works for a company that goes down to SA to work. Now that might be suspicious, was she a kidnap, if we didn't have ample suspects on the island.

The people behaving MOST shamefully in all of this are the American press. I saw, last evening, a guy on Fox grilling some Aruban Government official like he was a District Attorney or something.

"I was thinking -- 'chill out, Perry Mason'". This is another land and they will conduct their business the way they see fit. I know we have FBI down there assisting.. CHILL OUT already.

Everyone wants this solved like it was some episode of LAW & ORDER that's dragged on past 11 pm Eastern.. the fact is, it may go completely unsolved. Things like this do happen when you leave the country and we have very little wiggle room.

I applaud the media for keep the story alive, that's fine. But the wall to wall coverage, the grilling of officials by essentially "him-bo's" and the incessant desire on the part of Fox, MSNBC and all the others to be first (not necessarily 'right') is disturbing.

But, I can't fault the media for going wall to wall with this. They wouldn't be unless people were tuning in in droves..

One decided with FOX last nite not to talk about the latest murder (as if that's not news) because the Press is 'overly fixated on the Holloway story'. And his role is Polis Information Officer. Gimme a break

Wonder why that beach patrol member chose to not file any info. Also, wonder if that member might be related to any players in this case and what their last name is.

I think this can be explained by simple lack of experience in dealing with such high profile investigations. This isn't Los Angeles or New York City -- it's essentially Mayberry surrounded by serenity. They aren't going to be as adept at a murder investigation as we are all accustomed to.

I agree, it is troubling, because there is an American citizen down there. But I thought it was rather pompous and self-serving the way the "him-bo" reporter grilled this guy. I've heard (and at this point, I don't know what is true or not -- which is also partly the medias fault for reporting falsehoods without clarifying) that we have FBI men down there assisting this investigation since there is a US citizen missing. Why is no one grilling our FBI men for info? It seems very easy to beat up on Andy and Barney down there running this thing but let's give them some time.

Again, this isn't an episode of LAW & ORDER.

Thanks for the reality check. I think you may have seen Bill O'R grilling the Aruban. It was disgraceful, and it made me think that perhaps that's why some people are totally put off by our media and, in fact, Americans.
