UPDATE III: I asked Swift Boat Veteran For Truth John O'Neill for a comment, he tells me:
'We called for Kerry to execute a form which would permit anyone to examine his full and unexpulgated military records at the Navy Department and the National Personnel Records Center.
Instead he executed a form permitting his hometown paper to obtain the records currently at the Navy Department. The Navy Department previously indicated its records did not include various materials.
This is hardly what we called for. If he did execute a complete release of all records we could then answer questions such as (1)Did he ever receive orders to Cambodia or file any report of such a mission (whether at Christmas or otherwise); (2) What was his discharge status between 1970 and 1978 (when he received a discharge) and was it affected by his meetings in 1970 and 1971 with the North Vietnamese? (3)why did he receive much later citations for medals purportedly signed by Secretary Lehman who said he did not know of them; (4) Are there Hostile Fire and Personnel Injured by Hostile Fire Reports for Kerry's Dec. 1968 Purple Heart (when the officer in charge of the boat Admiral Schacte, the treating Surgeon Louis Letson, and Kerry's Division Commander deny there was hostile fire causing a scratch) awarded three months later under unknown circumstances. "Let's hope Hill's staff noticed. She'll flatten him."I realize she is moving to the center, but I doubt she will confront him on this. More likely she get Dean replaced at the DNC and cut off Kerry's funds.

The Navy is not covering for Kerry so I don't think this is a "whitewash". It is, however, another classic example of Kerry's personality. We have an almost perfect repetition of the "I voted for it before I voted against it" mentality. Kerry wants to make everyone think he is doing the right thing but is afraid of the consequences of actually doing the right thing, So... he does just enough to be able to say "I signed the SF 180" when, in fact, he signed a truncated SF 180 that does not release all the documents held by the government.
I had an Air Force friend who described this type of tactic when executed by staff weenies as "slow-rolling". You give out just enough to be able to say you did the act but not enough to complete the process. When challenged you quibble over details and request additional guidance that can be argued about. In the end you wear down your opposition by out lasting their tour of duty or span of interest, which ever comes soonest.
In this case John Kerry will try to "slow-roll" this topic forever... He apparently has much to hide. Anyone in government who "deep throats" him to the media risks being charged with violations of the law, which the Democrats will do in a heartbeat if anyone gets the stones to do it.
Remember what happened to the Republican staffers who leaked the Democrats strategy memo... pilloried by the Dems and the press and left swinging in the wind by the Republican leadership...

He'll run in the primary again, but I seriously doubt he'll be nominated...ever again.

As SEan Hannity says, "You're a great American!
( Ok, this is the part where YOU say, "you're a Great American and we do that for about 5 minutes. ha.) But you know, its true. And there were a lot of Great Americans that helped defeat Kerry. That boy has a LOT of people who don't like him. He should consider himself very Lucky that he lost; but he doesn't get that.

This is not a cover up by the government; it's a cover up by Kerry and the mainstream media. The government can only release documents authorized by Kerry for release.

This is great news! frenchie has once again shown that he STILL thinks the msm controls the flow of news in this county. Jerry Corsi has indicated that he will be running against frenchie and this issue has not only been preserved but has now been enhanced!

Can't someone file a lawsuit claiming that sKerry is unable to hold federal office and force him to release his service records in court?

More likely she get Dean replaced at the DNC and cut off Kerry's funds.Dean's days as DNC chairman are numbered. He was attacked pretty hard by Lauer on GMA this morning.
I so wish he would continue on as DNC chairman, but the democrats aren't stupid enough to keep him there, unfortunately.

Im betting the F180 is still lying on his desk...it's a selective release...Kerry thinks we are sooooooo stupid to believe that he didn't release these docs because of his grades, that's what he was hiding...I don't care about his stinking grades...RELEASE ALL THE DOCUMENTS, KERRY.......btw..just a couple of weeks ago this form was laying on his desk, signed waiting to be sent to the DOD....PLEASE....the DOD doesn't work that fast.

Hell, when all the digging into Bush's ANG records showed nothing, they were so eager to believe anything bad about him that they readily accepted obviously fake documents and published them as "evidence".

The article in the Boston Globe yesterday peeked my interest. It seemed to miss many of the questions that had been raised and not answered.
So now we find he did not release all his records.

I read over at Power Line the following:
We have it on good authority that ace reporter Thomas Lipscomb is working the story of the Globe and Kerry's records as well.
Hopefully Lipscomb can get to the truth and in the process of exposing Kerry (yuk) he can expose the Globe reporter.
