Constitution Party Supports Border Integrity and the Minuteman Project
Constitution Party of Ohio ^

Posted on 06/07/2005 10:28:37 PM PDT by TERMINATTOR

The following resolution was passed by the delegates to the Constitution Party National Committee meeting held in Salt Lake City, Utah on April 28-30.

WHEREAS, the Constitution Party supports a return to sound immigration policy for the benefit of our nation, and all reasonable efforts to assist our already overburdened US Border Patrol are eagerly welcomed, we applaud the efforts of the leaders and workers within the "Minuteman Project" for their work in helping to secure the southern border of the United States.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that we express our appreciation of and support for their diligence in working with the local and state authorities, and the US Border Patrol, that are endeavoring to restore integrity to our Nation's southern border.

Economic geniuses have seen that the "free trade" system is more in the line with Marxist central control of commerce.

Good. You said it, so I don't have to.

Blah blah blah, bottom line is a vote for the Constitutional Party past city council would be in effect a vote to help elect Democrats.

You can create any cute story and explanation you like, but the end result of a third party vote is to rape conservatism.

Remember Perot...TWICE.

A third party is what got us two terms of Clintons. They dragged things way left in especially the Judiciary all due to the stupidity of Third Party Conservatives.

For the record: As critical as I feel compelled to be of the GOP's leadership right now, I still don't support the Constitution Party; primarily due to what I consider to be their totally wrong-headed position vis a vis the War.

I am and will always remain a republican, small 'r', but feel more each day the the Republican Party has seriously lost its way because of the power held by party hacks and liberals who have no conscience and hold to no principle but winning and holding power.

The "free trade" system set up by the WTO forms a socialist trading system that takes the competitive advantage from "rich" countries and gives it to "poor" countries. It has more to do with a global reorganization of our governmental systems centralizing power in a few global institutions than it does have anything to do with "free" or "trade". Economic geniuses have seen that the "free trade" system is more in the line with Marxist central control of commerce.

Then I am guessing your solution is to 1) Close the borders to all exports and imports 2) Cause massive Economic Disruption in the U.S. most likely leading to the collapse of the country into a depression as it is unable to sustain it's current system based on the resources currently within the United States being incapable of fulfilling the needs of Americans? In other words, you want the U.S. to have the economic outlook of the USSR in the early 80's. Fabulous! When can you replace Greenspan?

Conservatism is being raped, but not by me.

Any future electoral disasters due to defections by conservatives will be primarily caused by 'leaders' who lack the courage of conservatives' convictions.

Where the Republican party sucks, especially in California is that there isn't enough grass roots people coming up with any curb appeal.
Maybe it is the nature of politics that to have a lifespan you can't have a spine, but it sure seems as bad as the Democrats are, they don't lack nerve and the Republicans need to get NERVE.

There is a chance to totally change the landscape politically of this country and the Republicans appear to me to be afraid.

The fear suggest they are still manned by mostly amateurs in the consulting area.

The party does need work, but I don't believe it is corrupt like the Democrats in anyway.

I think the biggest problem is a lack of perspective. People like CP and LP members are fun and all, but at the same time make up about 1% of the population. Philosophically, I probably agree with them 100% and am probably even more of a "small government" fellow than they are. Unfortunately, such people want things to be just as they want them to be. Unfortunately, 98% of the population does not want things the way that the 1 or 2% does, shocking, I know. We are still fortunate to have what we have here in America and not be France, or Britian, or any of the others. It took 200 years to turn us into the state we are currently in, reverting back won't happen overnight.

Party leaders generally don't really believe in the grassroots. They periodically pay lip service to it, but that's about it. To them, money is the be-all and end-all of politics.

There are some notable exceptions to this, and those people are to be commended and should be supported.

But we have a LONG way to go...

This is going to leave a mark. Guess I'll have to follow their ideology a little more so I can decide who to vote for when th pubbies continue to ignore us on the immigration issue.

If the grass roots are abandoned for the most part, then that is a big mistake on the party's part.

They do need nerve, confidence and should be working their tails off explaining the Republican platform compared to the Democrat platform to as many people as possible.

Once people are educated, most choose conservatism/Republican because it is the closest to family values and what many relate to in their faith.

You shake your head and wonder why when they are in power they act like they are out of power.

The Democrats are imploding and this is a good opportunity to have them lose even more power if Republicans would just be proactive a bit.

Their goals are also closest to the original Republican Platform. They're pro-America, Anti-Free Trade and Globalism as well. They're good people.

Exactly why this lifelong Pubbie changed her vote in '04. No more votes for open borders globalists!

Same here janet.

They also pushed through CFR.. BIG MISTAKE. They've wasted 4 years on judges, and refuse to take the fight to the Democrats in the media.. think they can't figure out a way to do that?? They could if they tried. Rockefeller memo?? Nothing. Sandy Berger?? Next to Nothing. McDermott, Corzine, anti Bush statements during a time of war, IN the war zone?? Nothing. Supporting CA turn around?? Next to nothing.. Using grassroots then turning their back on them?? Yes. Responding to the people regarding illegal aliens?? No. Pulling out 'legislation on drivers licenses?? No, we get REal ID that wont work and can be bought and sold just like Social Security numbers are with aliens now. What a total crock of floating mindless turds. Globalism is lowering all boats. That's NAFTA, with CAFTA to finish us off with the happy hemisphere horsepucky.. Borders?? Gone with Border XXI (under the mask of environmentalism and humanitarianism, OVER SOVEREIGNTY).. Rights of Americans Citizens over aliens and criminals?? They fall silent. Legislatures giving away the treasury to them? Spreading..

ALL OF THAT AND WHOSE BLOOD PAID TO EARN AND PROTECT THOSE RIGHTS?? Americans. And they have been hung out to dry. Republicans Better get their act together. THEY are forcing the faithful, to seek HIGHER GROUND. If they lose the MAJORITY, it is by their OWN making.
