That's the most unbelievable thing I have read in a while!
Well we found the center (22%) and it is even smaller than the Left and the Right.
I don't believe that either. I don't think that many people could even define the term, much less have an opinion on it.
FYI Ping
It always happens, there's an industry term for it but I forget. Recall all those polls that say 60% or another ridiculous percentage claim to have watched the SuperBowl, Presidential debates, Seinfield finale, etc when in reality the TV networks claim only 30% viewership. People lie because they don't want to be perceived as being out of touch.
But of course people are going to say they've been following it, because they don't want to sound stupid.
Its the same reason polls overstate the number of people that say they go to church every week and the number of people who say they will vote in the next election.
Gosh, this is very good news! More Americans than I thought were (a) following the story and (b) didn't like what happened. I'm sure this will be on the front page of the NYT, and the lead story on the network news tonight...right?
It appeals to an unstable middle.
When you compromise with evil, evil always wins.
Put that in your pipe and smoke it, McVain.
And 2% understand it
I guess the majority of the American people must be extremists thst don't give a damn aboout the preservation of Senate rules, judging by these results.
What did the fab 14 win again? By my count the "Republicans" are now going to have primary challenges and the "Democrats", mostly in conservative states, already in jeopardy for being Democrats are now toast for signing up to this.
You have to wonder how they feel about the great Maverick Compromise now.
Harry Reid's extended family.
Interestingly, the liberals don't seem to like it much more than the conservatives.
somewhat or very speculative

LOL.
The LIEberals hate it, if DU is any gauge. I track them for opposition research purposes.
