OK... it won't surprise anyone from the Saddle Club, that I'm a sucker for the longshots. So, here are the horses I'd put my $$$ on, if I could bet...
Coin Silver
Noble Causeway
Flower Alley
Buzzards Bay.

And we're off!
To: HairOfTheDog
I'm going to go with Flower Alley, just because I like the name.

Bellamy Road will win the Kentucky Derby but will be backing down the last furlong.
No triple crown winner this year.

Thanks for the thread! Good to see everyone here again this year.
I'm going on record early. Smarty was the first favorite to win in a long time. I say Bellamy Road craps out in the stretch.
I'm taking High Fly and Jerry Bailey by at least three.

I like Bandini.
He seems to be coming into his own and has Derby winners close up being by a Kentucky Derby winning son of Mr Prospector (my favorite Derby sire), along with that other great... Seattle Slew, plus Dixieland Band and Coastal close up.

Afleet Alex is partly owned by someone is our town. We are rootin' for him.

Great looking thread!!!
I never bet favorites, but Bellamy Road looks very tough.
My second choice is Afleet Alex.
Although when I used to go to the track sometimes seeing the horses parade out can make a big difference in how you decide to place your bet.
