I have been wondering what her "problems" were that she was supposedly running away from. She is attractive, parents and fiance seem like decent people, has a lot of friends (14 bridesmaids,she was appearantly about to marry into an affluent and wealthy family.

I don't get it. Who knows what skeletons lurk in ones closet.

I heard on KFI yesterday that she did something like this twice before with the running away.

So, she has issues.

If I were this guy, I'd simply not marry her a be friends. She is obviously too unstable to trust in a family or especially with children.
