Prayers for TexasCowboy!
TexasCowboy has been using his hip injury as an excuse to prevent his friends from shooting his new riot gun.
Well some of us offered to take a look at it for him and he decided both a proffesional and sober opinion might make more sense.
So he found a coupon and now he is going to let some old saw-bones cut on him.
Probably a better idea than letting us do it, but a few folks feelings are still hurt!
Please all say a prayer for our Cowboy that he is back in the saddle again real soon.
Try "View Properties", then copy the address into the browser "file ->open window. If that lets you look at the image, then going back to the thread should let you see it in the thread. Several red X's on the Canteen thread from yesterday, and I'm using the IE browser today instead of the Mozilla one. Also going through a different ISP, since I'm still at the office.
Must be TT's prayers, along with those of zillion others. But I think the little guy's probably carry an extra special priority.
Prayers continuing, as always, for TC, Faith, and family.
So thankful to hear that TC is able to be out of the hospital, and that the lung is not filling with fluid!
Joining you in the hope that he will begin the radiation soon, to get rid of the brain cancer. Our constant prayer is that he will strengthen and improve enough to receive the treatments needed, and be blessed with healing, and return to good health.
I'm so glad to hear the sweet story about TT getting to talk to his Uncle TC on the phone, and tell him that he loves him. Things like that are such a boost to the spirit.
And, you are so right, Nana, God does hear the prayers of his little ones! I know He is touched by Logan's prayers. I hope and pray we all get the answers we want so very much. His Holy Will be done in all things.
Thank you for the update. Hugs and prayers for Faith and Joel.
Prayers always continue for our dear friend.....thanks TT
Prayers continue.
Thanks for the update, the ping, and for hanging in there.
Keep fighting TC.
Thank God for a little good news. I am so glad TC got to talk to Logan, the best medicine for him! Such a relief to hear he is home and some of the treatment is working! Thanks for the great update!!!!
Thank you for the update! I continue to pray for Texas Cowboy and Faith!
One prayer......on the way!
Prayers continuing for TC and Faith AND Joel. This must be such a difficult time for them all!
Dear Lord, be with this family. Show them Your power. Please Lord, move a mountain!
Thanks for the update. I am so grateful to witness this beautiful 'love' story.
Thanks for the Update TT!!!
I AM SURE..hearing the baby (not so much a baby anymore) is such a lift for TC!
I am so glad he can at least HEAR HIM!
We are still praying and praying..for Faith too..
Very precious mental picture of Logan saying his prayers...thanks for that!
Sending you a hug my friend...

Tell TC we love him and we're praying for him. And Faith, too. Thank you, Nana, for your updates. Kisses to Logan.
Miss V says "Happy Halloween, TC" ... "and you too Termite."
This encouraging news is evidence our prayers are always heard.
Look back a year to the beginning of TC's present road, full of potholes and quicksand. No matter what the devil strewed in his path all these months - two misdiagnoses, a broken femur and the negativity from physicians in Texas, setback after setback, hindering the start of aggressive treatment - it was overcome.
In every instance, God moved the football steadily forward toward HIS end of the field!
He let TC handle the flight from Texas to California, to the loving care of his daughter and her husband; and where he could emotionally support her with her difficult health issues.
In the past month I placed a hedge of protection around my two sons in Florida when Wilma reared her ugly head, 'eyeing' them.
Kevin lives in Lake Worth (by West Palm Beach), and Wilma roared directly over his house, buffeting him with 113 mph winds. They went outside to check on neighbors during the eerie lull within it, and it lasted for a full hour before the other side slammed them again.
Steve now lives about 50 miles to the north of there, but actually had a harder time, with the top wall of the eye hitting him nonstop for hours.
While Kevin had the calm eye and brief lulls between trailing west bands, Steve had no letup until it went out to sea.
They both lost power - Steve's came back on that night - Kevin had a generator, and power was restored a day or two later.
Neighbors around Kevin had their patios ripped apart, and other damage - he sustained only a torn screen on his back porch, easily fixed.
Steve did not fare as well, the sideways-driven rain hitting air vents under both ends of the roof - water flooded the attic and spread down the walls, and seeped around the windows, getting the carpet and padding in the bedrooms wet for 6" inside.
It also tore up some sections of his newly installed 6' wood fence around the back yard, uprooting the concrete footings and all.
Those can all be repaired, and their life was not substantially disrupted.
God does indeed hear every prayer, answering His way...
Giving prayers every day for you, TC, for Him to continue to give you strength and peace...God is using you to show us here your steadfast walk with Him, drawing out our love for you to surround you, and to see the fruits thereof.
All of us walk with you, TC, gently holding your hand....

AMEN
Thanks for the update on TC! God has blessed him with wonderful family that takes care and protects him, with friends around the country who pray for him and love him, and a Father in heaven who listens to every prayer!
The prayers continue for him to get started on the radiation and that the other treatment will finally get started. God keep him in Your strong and mighty arms! Please, Father, give him his health back, if it be Your will!
Praying for you, Texas Cowboy
Giving prayers every day for you, TC
You can do that? I mean you won't get in trouble with the ACLU or anything will you.

One Prayer.....On The Way!
I bragged a bit on you to her. That thing about being the guidon bearer at the dedication of the replica Iwo Jima Memorial.
She looked to be 18-20. She was headed for Camp Pendleton. Had enough baggage for three Marines. (Two big suitcases, a big backpack, and two duffles, stuffed to the gills). She didn't know how she was getting to Pendleton, but I figured "she's a Marine, she'll overcome, adapt, and get it done".
