I just received a phone call from my mother, tgslTakoma. She's at the DC Chapter counterprotest of Code Pink at Walter Reed.
tgsl says: We arrived carrying American flags and signs supporting the troops at 8 PM on the northeast corner of Walter Reed. The Code Pinkos arrived around 9 on their corner. Gail arrived and saw the FReepers on their corner, and we can only assume that she made a few phone calls. After we unfurled our MOAB (Mother Of All Banners), the Pinkos got upset and sent over 2 goons to stand in front of us, Later another one came. The three questionable characters arrived, one man saying he wants to kill "ragheads" and another one with a sign that says "Kill the poor." This second somewhat androgenous character just told me that he likes to eat bodies. This man says he was in the 351st airborne based out of Chattanooga, Tennessee. I called police at 9:24 and 9:29 and they said they'd send the next available unit. The police have yet to arrive.

Auto parts stores often have them. Make sure it's re-chargeable.
An air horn in close promimity will have a nice effect also.

I am originally from northern New Jersey, lived there for 33 years. Then I escaped to Texas. I run into the local looney lefties, they here the bit of Texican that I've picked up (I do not at all sound like a Yankee), find that I live in Texas for a while. OOPS, I lived in Texas for a while, that's it, I've become subhuman. The Dummycrats here pulled the same stuff on Congressman John Kline in my district. Originally he was from around Scranton PA, he spent some time in the Southland, that's it, he was hopelessly contaminated. Thus the dirty race that John Luther ran against him in 2002 (and lost - There was a "third party" candidate running for that seat from the "No New Taxes Party", who turned out to be a Sierra Club activist and a DFL operative).
BTW the Northern Liberals are the biggest racist bigots around.

No, I had the same problem with a road rage guy in Maryland. Cop said that even though the guy threatened to go to his car, get his gun, and shoot me, the Cop couldn't followup unless I actually SAW the gun.
