Poor people...it will be another dissapointment.
I thinbk when Kennedy said he was using foreign law to make judgements, no one thought he was using Nazi Germany law.

The MSM is answering these last minute appeals by interviewing so called medical experts who are saying it would by 'dangerous' to hydrate Terri now that her body is shutting down. There is a definite persistence on their part in killing Terri.

This is good news, when Terri is told the Supreme Court may take her case, I'm sure she will pop out of her trance.

She STILL lives... is today day 13? or day 14?
That's a hell of a lot of stamina for someone who allegedly doesn't want to live.

Although I wish them all the luck in the world we're dealing with judges who don't appear to be even the slightest bit interested in righting an obvious injustice.

They won't take it. And if they did, wouldn't rule on it until July!

I understand their desperation but repeatedly asking the same people time and time again with the same information will not change a thing.
I think God has given them their answer. He is still in charge. It is HIS will that will prevail.

Thanks, I hope the SC shows a little humanity and recognizes that the District court ERRORED by not doing a de novo.
here is the critical section of the law passed by congress that Whittemore ignored:
In such a suit, the District Court shall determine de novo any claim of a violation of any right of Theresa Marie Schiavo within the scope of this Act, notwithstanding any prior State court determination and regardless of whether such a claim has previously been raised, considered, or decided in State court proceedings.

The Schindlers constant appeals remind me of the story in the bible about the judge who was constantly petitioned and finally relented and granted the petitioner's request.

Bob and Mary Schindler are parents beyond compare.
They deserve to keep their daughter almost as much as Terri deserves to live.

There is a lesson in all this, never, ever put your life in the hands of the courts!!!
The family should have kidnapped her months, no, years ago.
We obviously cannot count on the court making the right and moral decisions anymore. We just take the 'word'(and I use that term loosely) of HINO that Terri would want to die rather than live with the love of her family to care for her.
I'm sure had someone told her she would be starved to death she would have said "hell no".
I just hope someone will start a prayer thread for her because the time is growing near and no one apparently can or is willing stop it.

As much as I feel for them, I think it's to late for Terri.Too many days have gone by, there is no way her body can recover from 12 days without additional complications. She'll be gone by the time any decision is made.
Some of these issues should have been addressed earlier when they still had time, especially after the second time the feeding tube was removed. We keep fighting to keep the Federal government out of our daily lives, yet we want an exception on one case. I think now is the time to start demanding reform in our judicial system and remove judges making laws based on their beliefs and donations. Parents have fought a long hard fight against MS and **&^%$ judges.

I can't blame them for trying but I don't think anyone is going to help them. What a terrible situation!

Pray for the Supreme Court to do the right thing, which is save Terri's life immediately, then consider the meritorious claim that she is being deprived of her due process rights under the 14th Amendment of the Constitution, as well as being entitled to a de novo trial on the facts of her actual condition and her actual wishes, not the garbage findings of the death judge in Pinellas County, Florida.

Only two things can realistically happen to resolve this expeditiously:
1) Jeb Bush call the local and County police and get agreement for state to take immediate control of patient. Make the local law go on record that they will oppose it.
2) George Bush nationalize guard and take immediate control of patient with Jeb Bush and local law enforcement agreement.
There are no other ways. What can the local courts do? It would take a couple of months to figure it out, and by then she would be back on nutrients, and her case would get proper due process and review for abuse, and determining the true nature of her state. Just like Kennedy did with school integration. Prayer is fine for her soul, but she is not just only a soul at this point.
If the Bushes do not take immediate actions in this regard, its over. My goodness, of all the domestic issues they can the greatest influence on, this is it!
Time is of the essence.

However, the Schindlers have already been rebuffed once by the US' highest court in Washington on March 24.This fact alone hurts their chances. Although not legally relevant, I don't think I'd be shocked to learn that at this point the Justices might be afraid to second-guess themselves and order that the feeding tube be reconnected.
