She STILL lives... is today day 13? or day 14?

That's a hell of a lot of stamina for someone who allegedly doesn't want to live.

I think it's a lot of stamina for someone who's "dead" already! /heavy sarcasm

I agree, she's telling us volumes about love of life, and very eloquently IMO.

Watching her do this is much too painful for us, so why don't we "just let her die already." /s

"Bush signed legislation backing a federal court review of Terri's case -- she has been in a persistent vegitative state for 15 years -- but the federal courts have so far declined to intervene on her behalf."

She has NOT been in a persistent vegetative state for 15 years. That is a LIE! We are witnessing the judicial murder of an innocent, helpless disabled person. Hardened criminals convicted of vicious murder get better treatment. Is there still hope for Terri?

I think that would be an eating disorder of some kind. I wonder why she had not had a heart attack?

I agree, although I think most would agree that it is pretty well suspected/known that she never told Michael she didn't want to live that way, although the fact she is living without "life support" indicates she wasn't on "life support" to begin with....anyways...at an oncology office I visit, there are people who have stopped treatment, and I have seen that when someone is on deaths door and wants to die, their body flat out quits. And some on deaths door, the will or desire to live carries them on. I don't understand it, but there is something to be said for desire, one way or the other, without outside intervention.

And whatever problem her heart had, coping with eating disorders at age 26, it looks like 15 years of medical neglect and physical inactivity have cured it. No "heart attack" from "chemical imbalance" yet.
