And I say, this year, we KEEP it this way, after the change.
Enough of this getting dark at 4 PM crap.

Those of you in Hawaii, Arizona, and most of Indiana --- Never mind. Tell Fox News and Spike to quit messing with their times, and I'll never mind.

When I was little, we used to go see Hoover Dam quite often. One side of the Dam is in AZ, the other in NV. There one clock on either side of the line. It was so confusing to me (a youngster) that sometimes the clocks read the same and sometimes they were an hour off each other. I think we oughta just trash the whole concept.

I hate dayling savings time, which is an unnatural interference in the natural workings of time. Am I the only one to see things this way?
Of course, I also oppose monday holidays and the designated hitter rule!

I really wish they would stop this thing. That extra hour of sunlight burns my grass every year!!

I'm with you, though I think they have it backwards. Get dark earlier in the summer to cool off earlier, and stay light later to stay warmer in the winter.
Cheers!

The only reason I like it is it keeps my kids from getting up with the birds early in the morning.

Dang it. Now I gotta set my VCR to blink "1:00" at me for six months...

I hate dayling savings time, which is an unnatural interference in the natural workings of time. Am I the only one to see things this way? You are so correct!! How dare anyone interfere with Mother Nature!! It was HER, not Man, who decided it is now 2:43 in Cincinnati. Anyone proposing to make it 3:43 is obviously against nature!

Of course, I also oppose monday holidays and the designated hitter rule! I'm with you on the Designated hitter rule, but I like daylight savings --- I'd like to keep it all year. I hate those 5 pm sunsets in the dead of winter.

While getting ready for work in the mornings, I'll glance at the tv screen of Fox News to catch the time in the bottom left hand corner of the screen just below their logo. It seems every time I look I don't see the time, but rather that ridiculous word "channel". It drives me nuts - of course I know it's a channel. /rant off

Actually, I like DST, except they should end it in late September instead of late October. More time to do yard work, walk-the-block, and other outdoor activities. Starts to get light too late in October, so they should end it then, IMHO.

How "1970's" of you. Get a DVD player (or a 12-year old child). Problem solved, ROFLOL.

Not quite never mind, those of us in Hawaii, AZ and most of Indiana will have to adjust our VCR programs for anything that comes from a source other than our local networks. Our clocks don't change but our TV schedule shifts.
