Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.
We've asked and recieved their answer.
well if she has/is recieving that much morphine we can at least pray that she is no longer suffering.
Amen, Pegita. Your prayers are a source of great comfort.
I did not think it was true that is why I asked here......someone needs to spread the word that the protestors are and always have been peaceful!!

My GOD is bigger than Morphine~~!!!!
THAT BEING SAID - I'M ALSO PRAYING FOR GOD'S WILL~~!!
I'm also praying without ceasing for Terri's dear precious family.
Maybe if the protesters get violent (which I doubt), Jeb Bush can declare a state of emergency and sends in HIS state troopers.
I hope that's true, but there does come a point.
Please Freepers, don't think I was yelling at you~~!!!
I know you've been some of Terri's only real supporters.
That's why I came here to post - note - I've only been a member since February. Sorry if I offended anyone.
Just wanted you all to know what was going on.
I LOVE TERRI AND HER FAMILY SO MUCH AND JUST WANT THE TRUTH TO PREVAIL~!!
In other words, they don't want to listen to the People.
I'm still praying and contacting the Bush brothers.
Terri is an inspiration with her strong will to live.
Terri said: "Where there's life, there's hope."
Naw, the news never lies. /s
I went ahead and emailed it, but emails are even easier to ignore. I will fax, call, etc. to Jeb until he's out of office. He can hide and call us emotional but I will make it my duty to remind him of his that he refused to do.
Why doesn't Mel Gibson bring her a bottle of water and get arrested? Why doesn't Tom DeLay? Why doesn't Laura Bush, if no one in her family is able to do more than express a feeble preference? Where is a Cardinal of the Church? A Senator? Anybody with two good legs and the price of a ticket to Florida?
Theodore said: "It's best to "stay in" the GOP and vote in the primaries. Then if a bad choice is on the general election ballot, sit out that particular contest. If you vacate your access to the party primary, you reduce your options. You just need to start skipping certain races on the ballot to get the GOP's attention."
You're right about that. Be a Republican just enough to get decent people elected and don't vote for anyone who doesn't hold to decent standards of life. A big way to get the Repub party's attention is to TELL them you won't send money to the Repub party in general; you will instead send it directly to decent, prolife candidates. What we've really got to be careful about is knowing who is who - which ones are genuine and which ones are not. Yes, at the primary level is the place to make the biggest difference. Thanks for this, Theodore.
And did you all hear that a school near the Hospice is 'Forced' to send their students elsewhere this week due to the 'scene' at the hospice? I wonder what they are going to tell the kids? "Sorry kids but you have to go somewhere else so we can finish killing Terri. After her husband is finished torturing her to death in front of her family the protesters will go away and everything can go undercover where you can't see it again."/s
There are enough Terri supporters that if they united they could save her.....the president could get the national guard and he would be fully supported byt the 'violent' protesters.
I agree with you!!! Faxes are much better than emails.
Also, in my humble opinion, we need to call and fax the president of the house and all those in the house to continue to fight for Terri.
We have to back up the REV MAHONY!! He will be in Washington DC tomorrow and we need to hold those congressmen's FEET TO THE FIRE AND SUPPORT REV MAHONY'S EFFORTS!!!
she wasn't the only one... weren't michael et al also subponeaed?
