Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.

I haven't seen the American press mention this. Only that the Schindlers want to go home period.

Schiavo supporters urged to stay
Supporters of Terri Schiavo's parents pray outside her hospice
The family of a brain-damaged US woman at the centre of a bitter legal battle has urged people to continue a vigil outside her Florida hospice.
Terri Schiavo, 41, has been without food or water for a week, after courts agreed she should be allowed to die and her feeding tube was removed.
Saturday saw the Florida Supreme Court reject an emergency appeal from her parents to keep her alive.
Without nourishment, she is expected to die within the next few days.
The Schindlers, who are practicing Roman Catholics, have attracted support from conservative Christians and right-to-life activists.
Dozens of people have maintained a vigil in front of the hospice in Pinellas Park in recent days. The crowd increased to several hundred on Saturday.

Timeline: Terri Schiavo case
Mrs Schiavo's father, Bob Schindler, had told them to go home and celebrate Easter Sunday with their families.
But in a statement issued by a family spokesman, Gary McCullough, he urged them to return to the hospice afterwards.
"We want people to continue to be here with Terri, and with us," he said.

I don't know this, but I bet that there is an insurance policy and I bet that MS is the beneficiary---and I bet he is just rubbing his hands together in anticipation of getting the money, SOON.
If the Shindlers are smart, they already have an attorney drawing up papers to file a lawsuit on behalf of Terri and themselves for pain and suffering and anything else---and hopefully all of the insurance money will have to be used up defending himself, by MS.
BTW, I just saw on another thread, that Felso said yesterday that there is a court order keeping the Shindler family from Terri funeral because they have been mean to Michael and he doesn't want any disruption "when he lays his wife to rest"--can you guys believe it?
The final ultimate dagger in the heart of this poor family that is suffering so much, and now the won't be allowed to even bury their daughter....just damn

Your words were filled with hope and are greatly appreciated. For whatever reason, God has chosen to allow what appears to be a victory for the devil. But He sees the greater picture from above, and if He has allowed these events to play out, I am confident that it is for our good and for His greater glory. Terri's life has had tremendous meaning---meaning of eternal significance. We can all strive to leave the kind of lasting legacy that her life has given us. Our job is to trust and obey the Lord God Almighty. We cannot do that with anger, bitterness, and resentment in our hearts. I am angry, bitter, and resentful right now and it is Easter Sunday. My heart should be full of joy and gladness because of what Jesus' death and resurrection have won us. I confess that I will need His assistance in getting beyond this. Only God can help us turn the corner and be a part of the good that will eventually come out of this tragedy.

"That FOX report on these new arrests was slanted as hell. The reporter used all the keywords "anger" of the demonstrators, "the family told everyone to go home but they won't," etc."
In the past week something has happened to FOX. I've been saying that Terri's story has caused everyone to pick a side for good or evil, and declare the intentions in their heart.
I guess this also applies to FOX. FOX's CINO facade just crumbled.

"Christians" who stand for nothing will be accepted. Those who have standards of right and wrong will be.....(fill in the blank.)"
Given long, painful "sensitivity training" before being "released to join their God." That's the spin I think they'll put on it...

In the past week something has happened to FOX. I've been saying that Terri's story has caused everyone to pick a side for good or evil, and declare the intentions in their heart. This issue has flushed out all of the frauds and traitors. Anyone who does not value life can not be trusted in the least.

Amen, PleaseNoMore!
Lift your glad voices in triumph on high,
For Jesus hath risen, and man cannot die;
Vain were the terrors that gathered around Him,
And short the dominion of death and the grave.
He burst from the fetters of darkness that bound Him,
Resplendent in glory to live and to save!
Loud was the chorus of angels on high,
The Savior hath risen, and man shall not die.
Glory to God, in full anthems of joy;
The being He gave us death cannot destroy:
Sad were the life we must part with tomorrow,
If tears were our birthright, and death were our end!
But Jesus hath cheered the dark valley of sorrow,
And bade us, immortal, to heaven ascend:
Lift then your voices in triumph on high,
For Jesus hath risen, and man shall not die!

This early morning when I signed off FR, I started wondering to myself if Jeb is protecting someone other than his own coward's butt.
I wondered very seriously.

Thank you everything. The horror of this ordeal will shape the future. Sides have been chosen. Looks like there are many more of them than us . . . which is probably Good News in the spiritual sense.
God bless you.

There is one picture that I can't find. It is the one with a severely starved cc prisoner that shows him simultaneously praying and thanking his liberators. Felos would say that we interrupted a beautiful event taking place.
