Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.

Matthew 27
1When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death:
2And when they had bound him, they led him away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor.
3Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
4Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.
5And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.
6And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.
7And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in.
8Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day.
9Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value;
10And gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord appointed me.
11And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And Jesus said unto him, Thou sayest.
12And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.
13Then said Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee?
14And he answered him to never a word; insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly.
15Now at that feast the governor was wont to release unto the people a prisoner, whom they would.
16And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas.
17Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ?
18For he knew that for envy they had delivered him.
19When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.
20But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.
21The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas.
22Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.
23And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.
24When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.
25Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.
26Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.
I hope it is exposed. AND I do hope the country sees the need....from what they've learned in the media, the public has gotten a snow job...they may not see a need.
I've always wondered, 'what did the 'outrage Allied commanders' expect the local civilians to do? Picket the concentration camp?
History is the real judge. Who are the heroes of WWII? Certainly not the politicians. And not just the Allied military. The greatest heroes are those who broke the law to save others who were going to be killed: from Wallenburg to Corrie Ten Boom.
all we're seeing, how evil is made to be good, and good evil.
Aren't we, though? And senator King saying we who want Terri kept alive are "keeping" her from going to heaven. It's outrageous.
It's called new speak like peacekeepers who are soldiers etc
Amen!
"Well sure Mr. President. How about you Governor? Just help yourself. As long you can help yourself. Don't choke on it."
No, we need congress, who ESTABLISHED the federal courts, to simply eliminate a court and its jurisdiction everytime an activist judge makes a law. States should do this too.
I can't help but to feel bad for Terri, her father told her that President Bush signed a bill that was going to save her. Geez.....she is still waiting.
With a heavy heart, agreeing with you in prayer ...
Honestly, our country has taken a major jump in the wrong direction this past week.
I think I can understand why Jeb Bush has been reluctant to physically go down and "take" Terri out of the hospice and put her in protective custody---I am sure that he knows that "being in contempt", although he probably wouldn't actually go to jail, it would severly compromise his standing as Governor---
I said earlier on another thread that I have a 29 year old daughter and I cannot imagine standing a watching her being starved and dehydrated to death---I have always contended that I would take a bullet for my children, so I know that I would just have to physically pick her up and walk out with her---
They would have to arrest me, or kill me to stop me---why are the Shindlers just "watching"?....I couldn't, wouldn't...
Rev. 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Mr. Gibbs petitioned the court for a Christian burial.
Denied by Judge Greer.

I agree! Truelady has been nothing but a lady! She has no blood on her hands! The ones that have blood on their hands are Jeb and George cause they could have stopped this, but chose not to!
You think he and he lawyers haven't been trying to find a way?
Yes, there are many things he could do
But the fact remains .. the State Courts and the Fed Court have upheld the removal of her feeding tube regardless of any new evidence
It sucks big time and my heart is breaking for her family .. but the bottom line is .. they courts will not allow the feeding tube put back in
Praying your Beautiful and Spiritual Prayer Out Loud, my Dear Sister in Christ. Hear the Cries of Your Children, O Father our King, as we Agree Together in Prayer before Your Welcoming Throne of Grace!
I just saw a post on another website which I thought was a good argument for Terri that perhaps her lawyers could have used....continually calling her a vegetable....well God we water and feed our vegetable gardens...they deserve more than Terri ????
I believe in one of the press conferences, the parents said they did not advocate breaking the law ...
I am afraid that after I picked up my daughter and took her to a safe place, I would have to find Judge Greer and look him in the eye and say, "Deny this!"
