Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.

I would like to see all meals on death row halted now.

"I am informed with the schools of thought on the tribulation. I have read (15 years ago, at least) Hal Lindsey's book. I also believe in pre-trib. I just can't remember everything, as written, in Revelations, just snippets, because I really haven't studied it. I never felt the need to be concerned about it. I no longer feel that way."
Dr. Jack Van Impe (nicknamed the Walking Bible) is an expert of the revelation/end time prophecy. You can go to his website for info on when his shows air. I have been watching him for more than 10 years and learn alot. His website is http://www.jvim.com He relates what is going on in the world with scripture.

all we're seeing, how evil is made to be good, and good evil. Aren't we, though? And senator King saying we who want Terri kept alive are "keeping" her from going to heaven. It's outrageous.

Hamden Baskin speaking as Michael Schiavo's attorney now from St. Aug on FoxNews w/Rita Cosby.
Baskin -- used to be a good Florida name.
Before this was Scott Schiavo -- laying blame on the Schindlers. Full interview will be on Geraldo. If we can stand it -- barf alert WILL be needed, after I've seen the snippets.
ON CNN Larry King Live -- Rick Warner talking about a responsive Terri. Had talked w/David Gibbs today.

Thank you for posting that link---a beautiful story, but alas Terri hasn't gotten the chance to have the hyperbaric chamber and physical therapy---

Also, the Department of Justice too.
This is a civil rights violation resulting in death
under color of law.
Even police officers who stood by and watched can be
prosecuted. If, you have a Federal Prosecutor that is
99% shark.

That name rings a bell. What is his background, Christian-wise?
To: atruelady
Yes, you don't really want to risk much to save her either. Apparently her own parents are not prepared to break the law either. I don't really blame them.

Same argument made by myself and others earlier. Agree wholeheartedly.

Geraldo will likely go against Schiavo, he was not for Terri starving

I agree, the DOJ need to do something, this is to huge and to many people need to pay for this! We have to make noise to get them to! If we don't I fear this is all just going tog o away. Fortunately I beleive that Terri's family will not stop Terrisfight even after she is gone! I believe they will press on and sue even the AG's office for wrongful death and they could win! And once they do than the DOJ will have to look into this! They will be forced to! God I hope Terri's family doesn't give up! They need to press on to make the responsible people pay for this!

I would like to see all meals on death row halted now. And then they could also have a "peaceful, beautiful" death. We're "keeping" them from a "better place."

I would like to see all meals on death row halted now. I suggested this last week.

I agree, that Gov. doesn't have blood on his hands, M. Schiavo does. Though I don't agree that had he stepped in it would have caused a Constitutional Crisis as some say, that IMO is an exaggeration.
I had hoped J. Bush would have saved Terri, even if he had to step on Greer, I would support that, if the Judiciary is out of hand then I can think of no better time than this to confront it. It would have been worth it. We can't know how it would finally end for Terri, because that didn't happen.
With that said, I don't think J. Bush has blood on his hands, he tried to help, he can be commended for at least that, maybe a braver man would have made the leap down the road less traveled and struck a blow for putting a halt to runaway judges acting like gods to save this woman. But you can't fault a man for reaching his own limits, we don't walk in his shoes, if he lacked that rare courage to defy Greer and save Terri then that should be understandable not contemptible. He did his best, a good man, and should still command respect for what he has done and not disrespect for something so many could never do themselves, but we can pray the next man can do a little better.

The truly guilty parties, Schiavo/Felos/Greer/Soros are barely granted a footnote in this ghastly episode. If you recall they attempted, and failed, to carry this out in 2003........just before the 2004 election season was in full swing. Guess they settled for getting JEB.
