Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.
Halls....
I have only been posting with you for a few days. But I know that you believe in God with all your heart. Now is the time to be still.....trust in Him. As has been said, sometimes we ask of Him and he says no. But no fear...He has a plan. We don't know what it is.
I truly believe that He does hear our prayers. You have shown your compassion and caring. You are a dear person and I hate to see you suffer.
I noticed on t.v. the "outraged" Felos never said there would be suits filed for the alleged slander.

Terri's daily haiku:
"No calm in this sky
There's still life and thus still hope
In these final hours"
On same page:
"A scarlet heaven
hovers over the old south
Boom! Gone With The Wind"

"When Michael Schiavo
and Judge George Grant are in Hell
they get no water."

You can click below to read -- AND USE -- the five legal
briefs that explain to Gov. Jeb Bush that he has the legal
authority to save Terri Schiavo:

Someone on another thread surmised that neither of the president or the governor could handle this situation without allowing others to get hurt. This is ludicrous. Sure, if they bungled this someone could get hurt, but if they act constitutionally and professionally then proper action can be taken effectively.
The real problem is that because they are not using their constitutionally derived executive authority a woman IS most definitively suffering through one of the most gruesome deaths imaginable. This morning Fox News reported that her tongue and eyes are bleeding. Yesterday her mother had to leave the room she was so terrified at what she saw.
How can a president and a governor holding full authority to deal with this - sit back and allow it?
It's an important question and they are hardly trying to answer.
Yes, Terri's Law. ~sigh~
Well said. Reminds me some words I copied off an FR thread about the Orthodox St. Symeon:
Having received the divine radiance in your soul, you showed yourself a most brilliant luminary in the world. You scattered its dark madness and convinced all men to seek what they lost, the grace of the Holy Spirit.
Those lines really spoke to me. May we continue to try to "scatter the dark madness of this world" which at times like these, with the judicial system endorsing euthanasia of the disabled, seem very terrible indeed.
I trust no one in control of whats happening to terri now...They all may sound good but remember Satan knows scripture as well as God
You have a kind and gentle heart, Halls. I wouldn't change you one little bit.
It is a gift to care for others. GOD WILL BLESS YOU FOR YOUR LOVING KINDNESS.
Why not take a break and have a nice cup of tea? You are very important, you know.
Sources???
There's not one scintilla of evidence.
Thanks, I needed that!
We'd all welcome a Court of Law, held in public, to hear all the specifics that Michael Schiavo/Felos/Greer claim are lies.
It's an amazing feeling when the Lord allows these glimpses of peace.
no, because then there would have to be depositions, trial etc. Truth is the best defense and he wouldn't know the truth if it jumped up and hit him
We must continue to tell the truth. It is a great "weapon" against evil.
you're just trying to agitate. FREEPERS--IGNORE THIS ONE
They have to PROVE their accusations & slander.
I agree, Pegita. The problem here is not a result of the Bushes, but rather we are seeing the aftermath of the 8 years of Clinton in the WH. My hope is that this situation has truly opened the eyes of President Bush and Congress even further, and that it will give them the courage and determination they need to make sure that godly judges get appointed. I'm glad W still has 3+ more years in the WH.
I'm sure that President Bush isn't finished in acting on this. His action may not be able to save Terri, but I pray that it will save our nation from judicial tyranny and from many more Terri's suffering the same horrible injustice.
It's so important that we pray for him and our leaders, especially while we still have godly conservatives in the majority in the WH and in Congress.
Exactly.
