Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.
Terri was named after St Theresa of Avila. I just heard an attorney she had in 2003 say that one of the times they wanted to remove Terri's feeding tube was scheduled for October 15 and that is the day of the Feast of St Theresa of Avila. The tube was removed but then replaced after Gov Bush intervened. So note, another Holy day involved. None of what is happening now can be coincidence as we approach Easter.
I was speaking with someone yesterday who isn't the least bit religious. He told me that it is no coincidence that Terri's suffering is occuring during this time. He said he truly believed that she is serving a purpose that we may never understand.
My thinking is that maybe she will be saved by a miracle...I am hoping for Terri's sake and her family's. No matter what, I am convinced Michael tried to kill her and I hope we can all be part of helping him to be punished.
I missed reading earlier that you said that... SO, if we can find legitimate records that she USED TO BE on the BOD, then it would be useful for naming Judge Greer in a wrongful death case.

There are also threads here on FreeRepublic about this. But the Empire Journal has a bunch of articles on the subject you mention.
I casually mentioned Terri to my barber, and he was surprised.
"what do you mean? She's been in a COMA for 15 years hasn't she?"
He later indicted he got all his information from CNN.
Over the course of the haircut he got a pretty good education and seemed convinced it was worth studying himself.
AMEN Pegita, AMEN!!!!
I have a home office and a fax machine on a dedicated line. I also have flat-rate long-distance service on my phone lines, which means I don't get charged extra for each call.
If anyone needs something faxed regarding this case, let me know. You can e-mail or Freepmail me with the text and the fax number where it needs to go, and I will print it out and send it (fax line not connected to computer but separate).
My e-mail is: pbmaltzman@yahoo.com
Floriduh Voter, I am in complete agreement. Thanks for posting that.
Re: the jerks. 2 Thessalonians 1:6 is available to use for those who ignorantly or willfully offend us. Choices have consequences...
This happens with a lot of people. Years ago, I used to read in the papers that Terri was brain dead, that the husband wanted to remove her from life support and that the parents were just giving him a hard time. Naturally, I took them for their word.
I was listening to Glenn Beck one morning tell a very different story, so I decided to look into it myself. I only then learned that Terri was cognizant, only receiving assisted sustenance for a few hours every day and that the husband had his own family and had not allowed rehab for years on end.
Very different image, obviously.
Someone near and dear to me had to recieve assisted sustenance for quite a while. It's not life support. It's simple maintenance. Taking it away with the sole purpose of killing the patient is wrong and you don't have to look too deep to figure that out.
The media has done as much a disservice to this woman as the courts. It pains me to no end.
He preparest a table for her in the presence of her enemies. May she dwell in the House of the Lord forever.
Up in the middle of the night in CA. Checking in to see if Jeb Bush has saved our little sister yet. Apparently not. And apparently he's not going to. Poor Terri and her family. God bless 'em. Jeb Bush is going to be blamed for the rest of his life for killing Terri. He stood by and watched her die when he had the power to save her.
I am angry because you know darn well that these judges at all these courts have had to have heard of the allegations and stuff as to Michael's having something to do with the reason Terri is like this to begin with and yet no one seems to care. You would think that they would want to get to the truth, by granting the de novo trial which would unlock the whole truth. The hearings that they have had are not what the bill passed by congress was saying when they said a de novo review. They defied the congress and yet that seems to be ok.
We still believe in miracles even at this late hour but at this point God would have to use Jeb Bush to do it and Jeb has a free will. Therein lies the rub.
Thank you for your prayers without which many of us might waver in our faith during these trying times. God bless you mightily.
"Jeb Bush is going to be blamed for the rest of his life for killing Terri. He stood by and watched her die when he had the power to save her."
You're so right. And to think that this governor has a brother sitting in Washington, D.C. on the executive branch who is doing nothing too. They both have the power to save her and to make matters worse, their silence is deafening.
The only quotes I'm seeing from Jeb Bush are self-centered to protect himself. He is saying precious little to comfort this poor family. I am disgusted and grievously disappointed in both the president and the governor. At the very least they could be addressing this issue to the public by speaking out on the sanctity of life. The fact they are doing so little sends chills up my spine.
I do not know how the president can say his first duty is to protect Americans anymore. I don't know about everyone else here, but I no longer feel safe living in this country. Evidently, all it takes is for some corrupt judge to make a ruling and anyone of us can be punished for doing nothing wrong at all. Think about that: Terri has done nothing wrong, nor was she even dying before this happened.
From WorldNetDaily.com:
"Governor Bush, you have the power to save my daughter," Mary Schindler said. "Please, please do something."
Schiavo's father was more forceful.
"[Bush] has put Terri through a week of hell and our family through a week of hell by not acting," Bob Schindler said. "He has to come up to the plate."
My dear friends,
I am ashamed of myself tonite... not ashamed that I prayed fervently and honestly for Judge Greer's heart and soul, not ashamed that I believe in saving innocent lives, not ashamed that I feel anger towards those who want to hurt Terri and hurt our cause..
I am ashamed because I let that anger get the best of me tonite, and allowed an ugly side of myself to come out in public. I feel that I have let you down... all the things I've asked of you all, I've failed in doing, and ask your forgiveness.. I've asked for patience, and been impatient.. I've counseled self-control, and I've lost control.. I've counseled love, and shown hate..
I humble myself before you my friends and before my Lord and ask for mercy, forgiveness, and patience as I learn to conduct myself better.
President Bush, I don't really blame because he stepped up to the plate and signed that law in the middle of the night. It's Jeb Bush I just can't understand. He does have the power to act - come on, they could find a statute to cover their rears - but he is not acting. It's infuriating. My husband made me laugh. He said "If I were Gov Bush, here's what I'd do: ..... I can't type it but believe me it made me laugh. You can imagine! In other words, my husband A REAL MAN has no respect for Gov Bush whatsoever. A REAL MAN would kick some serious butt to save our vulnerable innocent little sister. OH, Lord, help Terri and her family. We have been looking to man for our help; help us to look to Thee from Whom all blessings flow. Amen.
