Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.
The courts have to be careful. They don't want to accidentally enliven somebody on false information.
I was gone all day, too. The break was good but other people I know talked about Terri today, too, and we ended up sharing our frustrations. I began to cry a few times, feeling hopeless about Terri, but thankful for the fellowship here and with my small group and a renewed spirit.
My husband has told me he's worried about my health, too. But I think I'll be fine with a good night's rest. I've felt rum-dum all day, as my MIL says. :)
Didn't know about the CT scan. Where did you hear that the 1990 was normal? Am I the only one who thinks she will be cremated before we even know she is gone, the medical records will mysteriously disappear and even Judge Greer's trial stuff will evaporate?
Dear Lord I pray for Terri's healing, but given that she has not been healed in 15 years I pray that your will be done.
Whether it be that she remain in this horrible state or be liberated from it to come home to be with you...YOUR WILL BE DONE.

ROLF! "enliven"... oh man.. I love it! reminds me of the word "embiggen" they used on the Simpsons once.. (before they got all politically correct and stupid)
I know.
Hey everyone. I haven't searched all the threads, but I'm looking for links to the corruption that has been talked about - having to do with Greer, the hospices, Medicare fraud, collusion, etc. Can someone please point me to any links...or you can freepmail me. Thanks so much!

Outloud (with the window down) and terribly off key :) Sheesh, how else will my 16 month old hear hymms, not at church anymore.....
Useless eater is a term that was used in Nazi Germany, I think for people who were disabled, physically or mentally. Is that right, FUE?
Great!
Please see Post 2505 for a link on the whole story.
The previous angel was a young girl lacking the upper body strength to handle the large sword pictured above.

lol...you must have MY voice! : )
I'm glad that you got out today. We still carry Terri in our hearts and minds and keep prayer on our lips while we are livng.
I decided to pray while I washed dishes. My husband is very GLAD that I did dishes...LOL! It was getting deep in there.
I think it is good to laugh a little too to let go of the anguish and constant sorrow. All of you should do something to make each other laugh...just every now and then. Laughter does the heart good like medicine.
I hadn't heard about that dream.
So sorry for your sore and stiff neck. I have a laptop and I love it. I can lie in bed with pillows behind my back. It's great. I've almost fallen asleep with it on my lap.
That's what you're doing, oinking before what's holy.
I should hope you did "wimp out" on going to jail! And a cop telling you that they are "paramilitary" sounds like a smarta$$ remark, not a fact.
