Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.

Prayer is a good place to start. Protest. Hammering our representatives with calls, emails, letters until they get the message (this is still a Republic...at least for the time being!). Doing what Scoop 1 is doing. And then praying again.

It is amazing to me that whatever the Schindler side produces as evidence is considered "made up" or hearsay, but the Schiavo side is factual evidence. This is the problem as I said from the start. The federal system is a problem I admit, but the real culprit here is the Florida State Judicial system, starting with the blatantly "unfair" and "biased" proceedings of the Greer court and ending with the appeals process who never stopped and said "hey, what's going on here". To me a new trial is in order and that is the only solution to get to the truth. It is a waste to deal with the federal courts...but I am not sure how to go about undoing what has already been done on the state level...an investigation is in order. Under whose authority would that fall?

I agree, I think it is time for a brand new trial with a brand new judge! And i bet that HINO would be removed from gaurdianship and Terri could go back to her parents. Somehow I don't ever see this is going to happen!

Yep and once it is to late, it is to late! I gaurantee you, JEB will be covered if he steps up to the plate and he will be seen as a hero by most. I also bet it will make him feel a whole lot better if he did do something! His conscious is going to kill him forever if he does nothing!
