TERRI SCHIAVO DAILY MARCH 2005 PART 6- NO FOOD OR WATER IN THE 6TH-7TH DAYS - GOOD FRIDAY
various | 3-24-05

Posted on 03/25/2005 12:17:45 AM PST by STARWISE

Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.

What Rosa Parks did was illegal. What the Nazis did was perfectly legal."

I think you've hit on exactly what I'm concerned about.

Where is God's law in all this?

I know a little of her. She's the chairwoman and the main person who was charged with initiating the funneling of the money from the hospice to the software division to keep it hidden, wasn't she?

Well put! There are only two sides to this and, again, this hasn't been partisan at all. Some of the ones arguing most fervently for her death are "Christians" and "conservatives."

You know, I have been a FReeper since the Monica Lewinsky scandal during the Clinton years. I spent three days e-mailing people about how Clinton was trying to intimidate the House Managers. I was on-line when Jim Rogan attended an FR Rally in California.I e-mailed the PResident, called my Senators on Terri Schiavo. I have posted on and off - did a lot of posting last two days on these very threads. But I cannot believe how a person cannot have a difference of opinion and someone wants to banish them.

If I have to say JEB BUSH IS A B______ FOR NOT DISOBEYING THE LAW to be able to continue to post, then Jim Robinson needs to take a look at the threads he allows.

You people are not the only ones frustrated at the situation. But blaming the one guy who has at least tried seems unfair and I stand by my statement.

Nothing about this makes sense, you're right. I have to think that there's a lot we don't know. From the surface level what has happened is hideous and foreboding. What is underneath has got to be much worse.

God's law commands us to take care of the least of his children.. to not kill.. to honor life...

"No man hath greater love than he who lays his life down for a friend"

Jeb Bush did not start this, but he can finish it if he chooses.. He can follow the orders of Judge Greer, or he can follow the orders of his Maker. The time has come to choose sides, men's true characters are being revealed.
The road to Hell is paved with good intentions..
You cannot serve God and mammon.

Terri's former guardian also teaches at USF.

Dr. Jay Wolfson is director of the Florida Health Information Center at the University of South Florida in Tampa.

He is also a lawyer.

The University of South Florida is intimately connected to Hospice and Hospice of the Florida Suncoast (the corporate owner of the hospice where Terri was being dehydrated and starved, and where she is once again interned).

The USF website gives information on continuing professional education to be held at the University of South Florida's Center for Hospice, Palliative Care and End-of-Life Studies.

The University of South Florida, Dr. Jay Wolfson's employer, has a partnership with, among other hospice organizations, the Hospice of the Florida Suncoast.

How convenient! He's been all over the TV defending his prognosis.

"Some of the ones arguing most fervently for her death are "Christians" and "conservatives." "

Who?

I'd like to know. I suspect you're right because I see much apathy in the Christian community, but I'd like to know if you've heard any well-known Christians support Greer.

The problem is that some Christians think obeying "rule of law" supercedes God's law. That is the problem.

The reality, imo, is that they lack courage.

Jeb could just pardon himself, or anyone from DFS and the State Police that goes in to get Terri. If the legislature thinks that such an action is unacceptably egregious, they can impeach and remove him.

I'd hazard to guess that the National Council of Churches is on the murderer's side.

exactly! rule of law is needed to keep the peace, but when that law breaks God's laws, I will not bow to it! I will break it as often as required..

God himself told us to be law abiding EXCEPT when it conflicts with His directives..

He is my authority...not some two bit county probate judge with a deity complex.

"What is underneath has got to be much worse."

That is one of the simplest statements of the death grip of good and evil going on that I have seen all day. Soros. Scientology. Catholicism. Amoral and illegal judiciary. Collapse of the executive. Time to break open St. John the Divine, and read.
