Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.
This is all so true. Maybe George W. Greer gets away with it all because he "at least" wears an "R" label! Many who would be upset calm down when they know that many of the principal players here are "at least" Republicans anyway.
No, a re-hearing before the 11th 3-panel.
Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father, I am praying that you give Governor Bush the strength and courage to see what is right, and to do what is right. He still can reconsider his options, he still can decide that life is more important than politics, he still has time to see the truth. Let him not waver in helping Terri, and let him not waver in helping himself. Amen.
I'm sitting here listening to Sean right now! I feel like I want to throw up!! This nurse is on saying how Terri is probably suffering very badly. God, it just rips my heart out! Show her mercy, please!
That is the saddest part of this whole thing. We may be able to open this up and expose it to save others, but in the meantime Terri is suffering and it's just killing me!
No, it's doesn't apply in Terri's case. You said everyone should have a living will and I was thinking of another case where someone had a feeding tube, the feeding tube was removed, the woman couldn't get out of bed but she did sit up and asked for food. She was still denied food and died shortly afterwards. I was wondering what your feelings on that would be.
Have you noticed also how Larry King warms up so snugly with George J. Felos and MRS?
You have a gift....truly
Very powerful!
In the Wonderful Name of Jesus Christ, our Master - Amen!
Thanks for the reminder! The Lord is still in control!
Jeb Bush has already said that he harbors no higher aspirations for public office. That alone may have made him less likely to try to do the right thing here. He is standing behind legalisms. If he changes his mind about higher office, do you think his missed opportunity here will hurt him?
I hope they are put in prison here soon.
Gibbs has the evidence if he will only read THE EMPIRE JOURNAL.
Law Enforcement needs to do it's job. The Schindler's prior attorney must have constantly shook her head over the injustice that Greer has gotten by with over the years.
I'm so angry over this. Terri can still be saved. The only question, is who has the guts to do it. I guess everything is in the LORDS hands and I'm trusting HIM.
All of this is so unreal.
I thought they were asking Greer to step down.
"Two nights ago, Terri's mother Mary, worn and extremely tired, looked at me with tears in her eyes and asked, "What am I going to do Cheryl, I am watching them kill my daughter and I am not allowed to help her?" We both cried. Her words barely audible as she desperately described Terri laying in her bed inside the death camp across the narrow street, "I love my daughter, she wasn't dying last Thursday, but she is dying now.""
The horror of this is devastating. What words, what words....That could be my child on that bed, or yours. I don't want to let my mind go numb to this brutality, I don't want ANYONE to shield themselves from feeling the pain this mother is feeling. That could be MY daughter.

Republicans who are in on this are wolves in sheeps clothing.
Someone else coined "Hoschwitz". It seems apropos.
If he meant it, and if he changes his mind, and if he continues to hold back, then with me, at least, he might as well talk to a wall. I can't speak for others, but I'm sure many here would feel the same way. As a whole, I don't know. So many still think Terri is on a ventilator or other life support, so who knows how he would fare.
