A mentally disabled woman whose court ordered starvation-execution began Friday attempted to contradict her estranged husband's claim that she wants to die hours before her feeding tube was disconnected, an eyewitness is claiming.
Barbara Weller, an attorney for Terri Schiavo's parents, told reporters Friday afternoon that during her visit earlier in the day she told Ms. Schiavo:
"Terri, if you would just say, 'I want to live,' - all of this will be over."
According to pro-life activist Randall Terry, who recounted the scene to radio host Sean Hannity, Schiavo tried desperately to repeat Weller's words.
"'I waaaaannt . . .' Schiavo allegedly said, in a prolonged yell that had police stationed nearby running into her hospice room.
"She just started yelling, 'I waaaannt, I waaaannt,'" Terry said, according to Weller's account.
At that point police ejected Weller, he said.
Yes I've seen that, from 1998, very unfortunate. Oh, by the way, did you know that Greer was re-elected to the bench in 2004? Also unfortunate.
Some, perhaps, but despite Hanlon's Razor(*), you should recognize that the people driving the slaughter are not stupid, but evil. They know full well that Terri's alive and concious--that's why they need her dead.
(*)Never attribute to malice that which may be adequately explained by stupidity
Yup. I did. By a big margin too. I read there were some irregularities about his campaign. Wanna take bets that he gets away with it?
I have a funny feeling the Pinellas County GOP makes Illinois' look like saints. According to http://www.sptimes.com/2002/07/10/TampaBay/Who_s_watching_guardi.shtml there's been a lot of fishiness in Pinellas County guardianship cases for a long time. The GOP there didn't want a new judge that would mess things up.
They are lying their asses off. They even got an adulterous creep, Terry Randall in their corner.
That was exactly my thought. How could Hammesfahr be taken seriously when he doesn't know whether it was a CAT scan or MRI, but he signed an affidavit that it was opipion that it was misrepresented!?
According to The Empire Journal, Greer claimed to have received endorsements (or what ordinary readers/viewers would perceive to be endorsements) from people forbidden to give them. If the public doesn't know that various officials aren't allowed to give endorsements, and sees that a particular candidate has received a bunch, they're apt to think favorably of that candidate, not realizing he's breaking the law.
IMHO, what will come out in the wash is that the Pinellas County GOP makes the Illinois GOP look like saints, and that they didn't want a judge who would disrupt their 'death mill' operation. Unfortunately, since Govan was forbidden from talking about any of Greer's actions as judge (what sort of campaign law is that!?) he couldn't counter the illegal GOP endorsement mailings with facts.
IMPEACH HIM NOW! |
Very unfortuante...the man is legaly blind, when he reads anything he must put the paper up to his nose...yet, he made a decision about Teri when he saw a video, apaently he did not see anything redeaming.
Possibly, Janet.
Who said I was standing there as a witness?
It is the same as blaming all Muslims for their tacit support of terrorism.
Sorry, that pig does not fly.
After 9/11/2001, but before the Iraq elections, the West was despised by the Muslims in the Middle East [and elsewhere].
One person bombing a clinic in perhaps several different cities is not representative of true Christian America, for to truly be a Christian, you must reject Abortion, and the culture of Death [excluding the Death Penalty -- it is only in the last 30 years that Christians have opposed the Death Penalty].
What you are saying is to give a pig wings with lead to help it fly -- 5,000 lbs of pig does not fly...
Glenn Beck's the only one I've heard with all the details about the lawsuit settlements, the way Michael walked away, etc. I've not heard of many of the radio program hosts you describe.
Crap! I could be next!
The irony of the whole situation with Schiavo is that she is kept alive by a large medical malpractice claim, the very type of lawsuit Bush and Congress recently brought an end to.
