Terri's Freepers,
Judge George Greer denied Terri's parents' Motion for a Stay to protect their daughter's life while there are still pending issues in this LIFE AND DEATH MATTER. In addition the Department of Children and Family Services made a surprise visit to the court hearing the other day and asked Judge Greer if they could approach the bench. Judge Greer denied DCF the opportunity to speak. DCF asked for 60 days to conduct a complete investigation of allegations that have surfaced in the form of a Complaint to their agency.
What was set in motion instead? On Friday, February 25th, Judge Greer REFUSED TO issue another Stay because he was "not comfortable" issuing a say to protect a Ward of the State but instead "set a date certain" (on his calendar at least, not on mine) to BEGIN THE BARBARIC, ANTI-AMERICAN, STARVATION-DEHYDRATION SLOW MURDER OF TERRI.
Attorney Gibbs for Terri's parents held a press conference after J. Greer's order that was so tastefully written to indicate that "he was giving the Schindlers until March 18th so they could "prepare for Last Rites." Attorneys Gibbs called this ruling and prior rulings "Hitler-resque". Indeed.
If Judge Greer wasn't LEGALIZING EUTHANASIA in his courtroom, why any need for Last Rites? Greer's urgency to fulfill this killing places urgency on every one of us to lobby Governor Bush, Florida's House and Florida's Senate.
A Judge in America is ordering the manner of someone's death, a disabled woman who is healthy but needs rehabilitation.
Time is short so we don't really have time to get into Greer's mind to see why he is Florida's Til of the Hun.

4. VISIT PINELLAS COUNTY FLORIDA AND VIGIL WITH US AT HOSPICE WOODSIDE.

6. HOLD A DEMONSTRATION AT THE GOVERNOR'S MANSION.
7. Join the Message Board that freepers started at the Crystal Cathedral/Hour of Power. TELL YOUR CHURCH ABOUT TERRI.
8. Tell your friends that Terri is alert and aware of her surroundings and to visit www.terrisfight.org to see her videos.
9. PETITIONS. We will gather current Petitions here for you. At this time, you can sign a SAVE TERRI PETITION AT www.renewamerica.us. THERE ARE ALSO IMPEACH GREER PETITIONS ABOUT.
Finally, the Pope has no Living Will. He will be SAFE as long as he stays away from George Greer's courtroom. The Pope is in our thoughts and prayers and he knows of Terri. He wants Terri to be freed from oppression and from a painless death by starvation-dehyration.

What do you think of the attorneys who missed Greer's ruling that disallowed testimony based on Greer's ruling that Karen Ann Quinlan died in 1976? She died in 1985, Gibbs just found it...
Saying they lied to him would cut his loss a bit maybe, but Greer doesn't treat all guardians in his court the same way.
Nutrition and hydration are not life support. Lock anyone in a room without food or water and that person will end up dead.
This is not death from disease. It is JUDICIAL HOMICIDE, a hit for an adulterous husband who wants everything to go his way. (a defacto remarriage with two b-stard children). He wants to STARVE Terri, which is different than a natural death.

No where in the statutes, that I recall have read them a lot, does it say that if a ward is PVS that it releases the guardian from their responsibilities.

You can say it is a conspiracy for state sactioned murder which is going to open the door for euthanasia. But this is really my belief and I suspect that Greer is doing his best to help them because he believes in euthanasia. I can't prove it yet.

I have no inside knowledge to that effect. My guess would be that she came to the conclusion that she lacked the experience necessary to be an effective advocate against a stone-hearted judge. She has made many mistakes in this case, which might not have been such a problem if she were dealing with a fair judge, but when a judge will use any excuse possible to deny a motion, any small slip can be fatal.

An attorney from northern Florida was reading Greer's order and found the discrepancy. Many attorneys in Florida despire Greer and what he's done as guardianship-probate judge. I wonder about the people we don't know about. How many have been early exited because of Greer?
Tutstar, we may be facing a question of who blinks first: G.W. "Haman" Greer or the DCF. Both the judge and the state agency are jealous of their powers, and both want to prevail but only one can do so.
This reminds me of the late Secretary of State Dean Rusk, a popular GA Democrat, who claimed in the Cuban missile crisis 43 years ago that we were "eyeball to eyeball with the enemy, and the other fellow blinked first." Question is: which one will fold his cards first. I think Greer will refuse to back down, for judicial power means everything to the current crop of men on the bench. Remember, even a trio of Jeb Bush appointees to the FL Supreme Court sided against poor Terri -- Republican justices wholly lacking in decency and compassion in this case.
I think it's clear Judge Greer doesn't think Terri has any value as a human being. On the other hand, I suspect he probably thinks the same of some of the other people who have died because of his decisions. As to whether he actively favors euthenasia or is merely indifferent to it, I don't know. I do think Greer is afraid that if Michael loses guardianship of Terri, an examination of Terri's person and books would be most embarassing to Judge Greer. That would in and of itself create a motive for wanting Terri dead. I do hope Greer realizes, though, that the examination is going to happen whether or not he orders Terri's execution; embezzlement is a much lighter charge than capital murder.

FLORIDA BISHOPS BREAK SILENCE ON SCHIAVO CASE
CLEARWATER, FL., USA, March 4 (CNA) - In a statement made public yesterday, but dated February 28th, the Florida Catholic Conference broke their silence regarding brain-damaged Terri Schiavo, who has spent the last ten years in hospice care unable to speak or move.
A Florida judge ruled last week that Terri's husband, Micheal Schiavo could remove the feeding tube, which provides her with daily food and water, in two weeks.
Many Pro-life organizations have been urging the Florida bishops to speak out for Terri and her parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, who have vowed to continue the fight to save their daughter's life.
In their statement, the bishops were quick to point out that "Mrs. Schiavo is not 'brain dead' or comatose."
They added that she "is a defenseless human being with inherent dignity, deserving of our respect, care and concern."
"Her plight", they continued, "dramatizes one of the most critical questions we face: To be a truly human society, how should we care for those we may not be able to cure?"
The bishops indicated that in their previous statements, they had "made it clear that there should be a presumption in favor of providing nutrition and hydration even by artificial means as long as it is of sufficient benefit to outweigh the burdens involved to the patient."
They reiterated that plea, asking that, "Mrs. Schiavo [continue] to receive all treatments and care that will be of benefit to her."
The statement also cited Pope John Paul II, who said March 2004 that, "the administration of water and food, even when provided by artificial means, always represents a natural means of preserving life, not a medical act."
The bishops closed the statement clearly indicating their desire that those persons responsible for Terri "will see that she continues to receive nourishment, comfort and loving care."
The statement was signed by, Archbishop John C. Favalora of the Archdiocese of Miami, and Bishops John J. Nevins of the Diocese of Venice, John H. Ricard, SSJ of the Diocese of Pensacola/Tallahassee, Victor Galeone of the Diocese of St. Augustine, Gerald M. Barbarito, JCL of the Diocese of Palm Beach, Thomas G. Wenski of the Diocese of Orlando, Felipe J. Estévez of the Archdiocese of Miami and Robert N. Lynch of the Diocese of St. Petersburg, Schiavo's home diocese.
