The President had no formal appearances today, but in a 98-0 decision, nominee Michael Chertoff was confirmed as the new Secretary of Homeland Security by the Senate. President Bush signed a declaration that Ohio is a major disaster area due to a severe ice storm, heavy snow flooding and mudslides (it's still a mess here!). First Lady Laura Bush spoke today at the 2005 Community College National Legislative Summit in Washington.
The Dems are on the run and losing ground. It's a GREAT Day to be a Bushbot, so ENJOY your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose!!

We had our first real taste of spring here in Ohio yesterday. I think it hit 60..........so many of us were outside, trying to clear some of the branches we lost during our horrendous ice storm.
But never fear.........there's snow on the ground again this morning......

We'll never know the extent of the damage the debauched one did to our kids............and I'm having a hard time forgiving him for it.
Me too, italian. He is strong, tough, and disciplined, and filled with joy.

I've seen them described as "an unusual turquoise color" and supposedly she does NOT wear colored contacts to enhance/change the color.

RE: Clinton's in the WH . . . I'm glad my kids were too young at the time to fully comprehend what was going on.
I'm sure your kids were at a much more 'aware'age. You're right, the damage they did to our youth is sooooo long-lasting. At least with your kids you could point to the Bible for guidance; the kids (and adults, for that matter) who had no religious background had nothing but their terrible example.
Every time we see the Pres. and Laura on, I point out to my kids how they show their respect and love for each other, like married people should. I'm so glad we have their example now.
