Anti-Jewish and anti-American propaganda published by the Saudi Arabian government has been on display at U.S. mosques, according to an American human rights group.
The publications including some found in the largest mosque in the Dallas area urge Muslims to hate Christians and Jews and to refuse service in "infidel" armies.
The preachings are in keeping with tenets of Wahhabi theology, the brand of Islam that prevails in Saudi Arabia.
A spokesman in the Saudi Embassy in Washington, Nail Al-Jubeir, said some of the materials cited may be obsolete and may not have been sent to America by the Saudi government. But he said the Saudis are investigating the claims made last week in a report by the Washington-based Freedom House.
Imam Yusuf Kavakci of the Dallas Central Mosque in Richardson acknowledged that Wahhabi materials have been brought into his mosque among scores of publications on display there but he said he rejects the Wahhabi teachings.

Gentlemen,
Regarding the recent article in the Dallas Morning News: Although I am not Muslim, I have close friends that are and this kind of story affects them adversely and dishonors their valued faith.
I understand that it is difficult to run an institution on a tight budget, but this does not absolve you of responsibility for the educational materials it makes available. I urge you in the strongest possible terms to, in the future, either reject Saudi materials completely, or invest in an industrial quality shredder and the necessary time to police them.
The bit about the shredder is not a joke, by the way.
Hopefully you are right but have you ever considered that the facts are against bigotry and more toward the intolerance of Christians by Muslims?
Thanks for the ping, I have mother, sister and brothers in Dallas.
good info bump^
I understand your pessimism. I share it. I worry that it will take another major catastrophe...And the President will be rightfully blamed. I think I understand his thinking, but he is simply, dangerously wrong. I don't want any more unnecessary loss of American life and I don't want the political bloodbath that would follow. I end up hoping for the best...Hoping nothing awful will happen. And as soon as this issue comes before congress, I plan on burning up the telephone lines yet again. Goodness knows I've already signed every petition possible. But I see no end in sight for increased state and local taxes to support the strain on hospitals and schools etc. I just hate feeling helpless. It's an incredible situation when BOTH parties are ignoring or stonewalling the will of the majority of citizens. Usually reading these threads just makes me ill or angry. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
You're welcomed. This place in Richardson is only about a 15-20
minute drive from my front door.
Direct hit! :^D
More of the same "diversity is wonderful" crapola from our current administration.
