Nice floppy, Bill.

I am just sitting here wishing I knew then what I know now. Imagine buying up a bunch of stock from this man's company at it's inception. Instead of sitting here at my computer in this freezing Ohio weather, I'd be lying on a beach somewhere drinking Pina Coladas served by a cabana boy named Dirk. Who'da thunk it?

TOOOOOOO FUNNY!

Hey, let's face it, he was probably a much better "catch" than most of the "heart throbs" who appeared in that magazine.

Probably read it myself, for the last time, circa 1972!

I find it interesting that some of the 'Microsoft millionaires' continue to do research w/us at UW in Seattle. They could have retired long ago but seem to prefer to work because they enjoy the research and problem solving. They have also been very generous to our university.

However, I'm sure there must be some who worked with Gates early on, made their money when the company took off, and left.

Oh, I'd do research and problem solving if I were Microsoft filthy rich. I'd research every masseuse in the world to find the best. And I'd problem solve by deciding which part of my body to have nipped, tucked or lifted first....:)

Seriously, I know what your saying. It would get boring, so I'd probably open my own business of some sort, possibly a restaurant since I love to cook.

And Apple stole it from the Xerox 8010 Star while Jobs was visiting Xerox PARC.

Meh... it's easy to oversell that. Just looking at someone's proof of concept and moving in the same direction is not stealing. All the code in the Mac was unique, and the implementation of many of the features was much more sophisticated--especially since the Mac was so much more resource-restricted than the Mac.

And by the way, I apply the same reasoning to Windows... except that Gates *did* have access to Apple code and could pick apart how the Mac team did what they did. Even so, it took a decade before Windows approached Mac usability.

And as of last night, she's history. Now, Jack is the only character left from seasons 1-3.

Be careful. I've been in a few of those places where the masseuses rubbed me the wrong way.

Of course!

That Loeb chick was kind of cute, actually.

Wonder what she's up to, now that the status of "one hit wonder" is finally behind her.

She needs her own show! ....just kidding. I DO wish that they would have allowed that co-worker, undercover relationship to continue. It was a weird, quirky combo that really worked.

Yes it's from 1985, the Caption for the photos reads:

First one:
Corbis. All Rights Reserved. Deborah Feingold/CORBIS. Bill Gates, CEO of Microsoft, reclines on his desk in his office soon after the release of Windows 1.0. 1985 Bellevue Washington, USA

Second One:
Corbis. All Rights Reserved. Deborah Feingold/CORBIS. Bill Gates, CEO of Microsoft throws a Windows 1.0 floppy disk in his office soon after the product's release. 1985 Bellevue, Washington, USA

Also some funny keywords associated... eyecontact, full length portrait, pants, etc.
