I never knew that was the derivation of "bundt."

I expected a lot more "bundt" of the joke jokes.

Reminds me of a scene from "My Big Fat Greek Wedding".

God rest his soul. Here is a man who actually accomplished something in his life. Something that led to simple pleasures for millions of people.
I suspect we'll not see over-the-top obituaries for him like we saw with Susan Sontag, who never did a damn thing to contribute to the public good in her entire miserable seventy-plus years.

I wonder how close it was to being called the Dalquist pan.

I wonder if that is the reason there is a "t" at the end of democrat. A gathering of idiots.

Let us have a moment of silence -- with all ovens turned to "Off":

I used two of them just last month to make some meatloaf. It turned out great!
RIP my friend.

This ranks right up there with Helga Hellesylt who invented "hot dish" and "a little lunch."

I shall make a bundt cake this weekend - in honor of his passing....

My #2 son asked for a silicone bundt pan for Christmas!! I got one for him and one for our #1 son, as well. They like making a Buttermilk Cake recipe from my Mississippi Cookbook, but it always stuck to the bundt pans they have. The silicone ones are totally non stick, and they can just kind of bend it to take the cake out of the pan. They were so excited! I'll get one for myself later, my trusty Nordicware Bundt is still going strong!!
God Bless Mr. Dalquist!!

Are they gonna build him a circular coffin?

While home for Christmas, my son rummaged through his granma's stuff hoping to find one but alas his mom had already scarfed it up.
Granma laughed. Who knew moving out of her house could be such fun.

I have two Nordic Ware bundt pans. Darn good, sturdy product.
I use one of them to make my Southern Whipping Cream Pound Cake (Elvis Presley's all-time favorite cake).
The recipe is in the fabulous freeper "Clinton Legacy" cookbook edited and published by our own freeper chef, Carlo3b.
Elvis knew his cake, if not much else.
Yum, yum.
