Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has been hammered (by a trivet of a camera) between the right ear and the neck, suffering a small haematoma. The aggressor, Roberto Del Bosco, who lives in Mantova (a "leftist" small town in Italy), is now under interrogation by the Digos (Police). The aggression has been stigmatized from exponents of the Cdl (Coalition of center-right) and some member of the Left. This is a result of a campaign of hatred against the premier, promnoted by the left. DEVELOPING...

"That what left-wing activism looks like... what do you think are the Pinkos planning to do for the presidential inauguration?"
beat Bush over the head with Birkenstocks and "No Blood For Oil" signs.
And then Bruce Springsteen will serenade the rioting liberal masses with another one of his commie songs.
"Here I am sittin by Pennsylvania Road"
"Hatin on Bush a-like old Tom Joad"
"Cummon rise up Cummon rise up li li li li li"
"Some day the People gonna have a Revolution"
"li li li li li li li li"
"Throw Bush out and destroy the Republican aristo institution"
"li li li li li"
And then Terezzzzzza Hindzzzz KAYREEY will hand out autographed photos of her in a bikini, I expect.

Yep. And during the election, Kerry was walking the line egging them on and saying their anger and crimes were understandable but insisting he had nothing to do with it. Left wing tripe. These scum are being funded by left-wing organizations ranging from DemonRat organizations here to Chinese and Russian communists abroad. Makes me sick.

Left-wing "activism". It's the same all over. I'm glad he's ok and hope no more attempts will be made against him. Notice how the perpetrator never says WHY he hates Berscoloni? The guy probably doesn't even know himself.
Before the US elections, a left-wing "activist" tried to murder a Florida congresswoman with his car.
I've been worried for several months how much worse the "activism" will become.

Interesting that somebody can get close enough to the Prime Minister to whack him with a camera tripod (I assume that's what it was and not a "trivet").

Yeah, how can you forget an article like this:
Can History Save the Democrats?
... where the New York Times comes as close to explicitly calling for someone to assassinate the President one can get without actually saying "someone please go assassinate the President".

I agree, and to be clear, I don't understand how a person like that can escape prosecution for insighting.

Erm... "incitement". But ditto, I don't understand why the author of that column hasn't yet been arrested.
