The Terri Schindler Schiavo Daily Threads are created month to month as we watch local and national news regarding Terri and her family.
Since Terri's supporters are in every time zone, you may see something FIRST. Please share news with us that you don't see here already. Now, why would you want to do that? Terri's Daily Thread for September/October of 2004 was viewed over 15,000 times. Terri's November Daily Thread was viewed over 6,000 times. December's thread is over 3,000 views.
More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.
Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.
Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.
Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.
See Terri's flash movies if you need more information. You can see for yourself that's she's interactive and follows the doctor's instructions.

NOTE: Terri's December Dailies are noted as a source above. There are lots of important links at the very top of that thread. If you missed Terri's Celebration of Life, you can click on it from there.
Let all add our thanks to you, FV, for all you do.
I'll be back later...
May 2005 bring a Happy New Year to Terri and her family!
Terri's January thread should be a blockbuster judging by feedback I'm getting. I'm glad to be able to help Terri's folks here. Free Republic is THE BEST web site on earth.
Yes, let's all give a big THANK YOU to floriduh voter for manning the front lines for us and keeping us informed. Without her help, I know we wouldn't be where we are today.
THANKS, FLORIDUH VOTER!!
Post 25 and thank you ohioanfromflorida. You are here every day if you aren't stuck in a snowback.

Yes, thanks florida voter, and Happy New Year to Terri, her family and all her freepers! May this be the year when she goes home to her family. God bless everyone who has worked so tirelessly for her.
I just caught the typo in your post. Looks like we may have more than one "voter" from "Florida". There's floriduh voter and Floridavoter. One has spaces and no caps, the other capitalizes Florida and leaves no space. Terri's Freeper is "floriduh voter". Just for future reference.
I've had my handle since the 2000 election debacle. Take care now...
Clearwater, FL (LifeNews.com) -- Terri Schiavo's estranged husband appears to have ended his involvement in one of the two ongoing legal battles in the fight to save her life.
In an interview this week, Michael Schiavo's lead attorney said he would cease responding to Terri's parents efforts to prevent her from being starved to death. In that aspect of the case, Bob and Mary Schindler are asking the courts to declare that removing Terri's feeding tube and causing her death would be a violation of her First Amendment religiuous liberties. The Schindlers say such an action would contravene Terri's Catholic faith and that recent statements by Pope John Paull II confirm the church's strong opposition to euthanasia.
George Felos, the euthanasia advocate who is Michael's lead attorney, confirmed speculation that has existed for two months that Michael will drop out of that case. "There is no prospect of finality,'' Felos told the Associated Press on Tuesday. "They (the appeals court) allow the Schindlers to attack the judgment no matter how frivolous," Felos told AP. "The only way the case can end is if the Schindlers stop attacking the final judgment or the court says no more stays. Until then we are just going to be on this revolving door.''
Felos has informed the 2nd District Court of Appeal that he is not responding to the motion the Schindlers filed appealing a judge's decision throwing out their religious liberties argument. Despite dropping out of that case, Felos and Michael Schiavo are sticking with their lawsuit seeking to overturn Terri's Law. It is headed to the U.S. Supreme Court on appeal.
FV SAYS: They are still going to fight Jeb Bush and Terri's Law in the US Supreme Court, undoubtedly aided by the Florida or DC branch of the ACLU.

George Felos just issued a press release stating that the 2nd District Court of Appeals rejected the appeal of Terri's family for another trial. The 2nd DCA did not write an opinion. George Felos Press Rlease is below

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SCHIAVO APPELLATE COURT DENIES "PAPAL" APPEAL
DUNEDIN, FLORIDA, December 29, 2004--Florida's Second District Court of Appeal, in an order without opinion, has denied the appeal of THERESA SCHIAVO'S parents to reopen her case based upon a recent statement of Pope John Paul II. The parents' claim--that MRS. SCHIAVO would now choose to be tube fed due to the Pope's speech on the subject--was first rejected by the Pinellas County Probate Court in October.
MICHAEL SCHIAVO, MRS. SCHIAVO'S husband and Guardian, who chose not to file a brief in the parents' appeal, praised the appellate court's "prompt and definitive denial of the Schindlers' frivolous claim." The probate court's stay order, which has prevented the removal of MRS. SCHIAVO'S artificial life-support until resolution of the "Papal" appeal, will automatically terminate upon the issuance of the appellate court's mandate. The mandate will be issued in fifteen days, or upon denial of any motion for rehearing filed by the parents.
There is currently no stay preventing removal of the feeding tube in the constitutional litigation between MICHAEL SCHIAVO and Governor Bush, now pending in the United States Supreme Court.
