There are no rules that can be put in place that can't be overcome by creative canvassing boards backed up by partisan judges who see the law a a malleable tool to support political goals.
Another poster said the "law is the law," but that is no longer valid when the law is merely another weapon in political wars. The time has come in Washington state to confront the dems. We can use the courts and the Federal courts if they are helpful. If they are not, the the Ukraine solution seems more appropriate. Fill the streets, shut down the government until the dems are defeated.

Good point. The problem with a legal remedy is that Washington is covered by the 9th circuit court, who are so liberal that they make the ACLU look like the Christian Coalition.

I wanted to remind everyone of a few things...
- The Republican Party is going to court to demand that the same rules that were applied in King County are applied statewide; that is, absentee votes whose signatures could not verified but were set aside and later counted by King Country Democratic Party hacks need to be counted now.
- No matter who wins this election, the sad fact is that the legislature is controlled by Democrats. So, even if Rossi were to win, he would have difficulty moving any kind of agenda.
- By the same token, Gregoire does not have the character or experience to lift this state out of its business slump. She isn't friendly to business -- and everyone knows it. So that will result in more businesses moving out of state and a loss of jobs. She wants to pretend to be a mainstream advocate for business -- but that's simply a joke. She has never even held a private sector job in her life, and her wanton disregard for taxpayer money ($19M, anybody?) would reduce her to a single-term governor, if she even wins.
- We shouldn't cheat to win this election. The Democrats don't care about ethics. They only care about power. We aren't like them. We simply want them to follow the rules.
- Even if Gregoire ultimately wins, she will live under a cloud of illegitimacy for the next 4 years. She lost two machine recounts and only managed to pull ahead through fraud and duplicity in a hand-picked county full of partisan hacks. People will not forget this.
- Even if Rossi loses, he has great things ahead of him. I predict that, if this comes to pass, he will win Maria Cantwell's Senate seat. Or, he will simply beat Gregoire in 4 years after the distaste for her incompetence settles in.

Very good point! That is the fundamental difference between us and them. They see the world as a dismal reflection of their own dark, empty, and bitter souls. We conservatives see that long term good can even arise from temporary setbacks.
No wonder the country's going conservative!

Show me a pic of the guy counting this as a G. vote and I will pass it on to a reporter friend at King-5.
But, all that I got so far is an unmarked ballot that supposedly was counted, but we don't have any proof that it was.

For some reason, the blank bubbles just don't show up well in the video (the picture is a video capture from King-5 TV). It may be that optical scan ballots are designed that way.
