A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

"I'm just a rough shot, chip off the block construction worker.." And what, pray tell, was Joseph, given the responsibility of being an earthly father to our Savior??!!
Like you -- a carpenter.
Many are the paths to Him - many the "assignments" for each of us.
Reminds me of the old television series, Mission Impossible" --
here is the assignment, if you are willing to accept it --- ..:))
All God asks is if we are willing to do HIS WILL...

Well, as long as prayers are going up, I have two friends, Barbara and Dale, who are both going to have angiograms, and possibly stents, tomorrow and could use some clout! I'm sure they would appreciate it.

What a wonderful house! It has so much character. And I love the color of the trip that you are using. How old is the house? It is the kind I have always wanted, but live in one of those smallish ranch-styles that were popular to build in the '60s. Are you doing all the work yourself? How long has it taken? Is it yours or are you doing it for someone else? Don't mean to be nosy (well, maybe I am!) but the pictures are great!

Doing it for a customer, I will take some more pictures today (the after shots) and post them tonight.
I don't mind you being nosy. There is thousands of homes just like that here in Buffalo. I'll build you one if you want..I have some more pics in my website Here..

A red, female dachsund showed up in my yard (and promptly jumped onto my lap) Sunday. After about 4 hours she followed a kid on a bicycle and his father over the hill. She came walking back over the hill on a leash yesterday with 3 kids in tow--one, the kid on the bicycle.
They had found "Pumkin" and their mother had taken it to the vet that morning and it is now being treated for heartworms. The kids are very pleased with their "find" and said if the owner of "Pumkin" is found their parents are going to get them another like her.
All is well that ends well--and this had a happy ending.

I wish you could build me one like it! It seems like such a liveable home. But I don't think I could live in "blue" Buffalo! I do look forward to seeing the "after" pictures tonight. And God bless your wife for standing up for the unborn! She is a very brave woman. Has she found another job? I am sure someone up there would want to hire someone that has principles that she stands for!

I was most pleased when that dog got out of my (lonestar's) lap! Not that I'm jealous, pushy, or controlling or anything!
Besides, I am busy oraganizing all the Christmas festivities. Guess who is Santa Paws again this year!
