A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

1) Click on the graphic to open the Calendar. 2) Once there you can click on any month and even click to the right to go into next year. Once you are in the month that you joined FR you will need to click on the number in the calendar and then an add item screen will come up. 3) In the next box enter your name in the "Calendar Text" field and then click on submit. 4) If any of the screens fail to load simply click on refresh in your browser and that will usually fix it. 5) If all else fails or simply if you want me to do this for you send me a FReepmail and I will gladly do it for you. ~Mixer

There's a sun porch on the back of the house too,
and to top it off an outside covered porch on the other side..WOW! I love it! Most new houses have no type of porch at all, such a shame.

"Yet we often think our situation is too difficult for God. If we can't solve things ourselves, we doubt that He can. We have our Christian beliefs, yesbut that isn't the same as believing God. Believing God is a personal response that grows out of our Christian faith and is expressed by our increasing trust in Him and His promises." This is one of my favorite topics, Rus.
One of the hardest things for a Christian is to let go of the reins and allow the Lord to be in charge!
It is my personal opinion every room in a home should display a sign to remind us that says:
It is all too easy to forget otherwise..:))

How tragic to learn of this death of a young man, Rus. I would think being in the company of men like you he was a believer -- you are an inspiration to us with your sense of obligation to share The Daily Bread and more with us, and pray for and encourage us.
My prayers stream forth often for you and Jul and the children.

I agree 110%, it has gotten easier as age and maturity sets in.
You look at life differently. Raising my children has done much for me.
It is extremly tough raising them in todays society.
Teaching them has taught me, the invaluable lessons of life.
The ones I missed growing up in a non Christian home.

I'm just a rough shot, chip off the block construction worker..
The Lord has put me into situations that not many Christians work in.
I want him to use me, for His Glory, not mine.

"her name is Betty." and now she is "everyone's sister," Texagirl ---
The important fact is GOD KNOWS HER NAME --- and hears our prayers for her, and for you and all her family and loved ones.
