I lost my mother a little over five years ago. She was almost 78, but I felt like it was a situation that would have been fixable if she had been in a little more progressive health care/medical community. It's one of those small towns that tends to trumpet its "progressiveness", a lot of which is somewhat delusional. There's a new hospital, which I hope is better, but I don't know.
