ZOT! How does one contact a Free Republic "representative?"
Posted on 12/02/2004 8:43:40 AM PST by SpikeyInWis
A thread that I started got pulled without explanation by a Jim Robinson. I'm new here and don't know how to ask the appropriate person (Jim Robinson) why. How do I do that please?

I'm not being chased away. I just don't see much use for this sort of thing. I said I'd stick around to the last post- as I define it- but, then, thanks for your kindness, I'm gone.

May 28. But, I'm also language and math challenged. 48.8K, huh? At work we have a Holiday fruitcake that has been ritually passed along to the next recipient at the Library Holiday Party for over twenty some years, the same one!I hope that helps explain my last remark. I had actually come across that thread before. My next question is: what triggers it each time it resurfaces? What ever became of the original poster?

Aw go ahead and use it. You might be able to believe this: I'm new here, I don't know what ZOT is.
Nor do I care, but since you're being polite, it is incumbent of me to be polite too.
So, I think this is the end...right?
To: SpikeyInWis
Still, it was a pretty stupid idea to post that article, especially as a newbie.

I can see that. Chew-toy?
You're being edifying. But so many of the rest.
Plus, if I can't post something thoughtful and, also, edifying because it contains a "word" this isn't my kind of place.
Not badmouthing it, it's just not my kind of place.

We have strict security rules and smell tests to dole out in situations. You got targeted because of certain language in a post. If you can't deal with it, then c'ya on down the road. It's that simple. No harm, no foul.

there, adv 1. at or to that place. 2.in that respect. 3 used to introduce expressions of existence or nonexistence.
SS. By definition what would make my use of "there" incorrect?

First, you must be logged in. Focault's Pendulum can help you with any technical issues that arise from the log in process. Second, you must have a beeber. Furthermore, it must be set to stune. Thirdly, and this is quite important, do not attempt to carve your initials into the moose with the sharpened end of an Interspace toothbrush. It will bite if you do this. Moose bites can be nasti. Finally, replace your mouse with a cheese wedge.
