A thread that I started got pulled without explanation by a Jim Robinson. I'm new here and don't know how to ask the appropriate person (Jim Robinson) why. How do I do that please?
That thread is a life form. It eats, sleeps, and works for its own existence.
It is also self-aware.

The very first article I posted shortly after signing up 3 years ago was about a gun-control issue. I read the rules about posting articles and decided to err on the side of caution and posted an excerpt.
Some grizzled old FReeper by the name of dale something-or-other flamed me and accused me of trolling for hits to a website. Appy Pappy came to my defense and I have never forgotten *him* either. :-)
I licked my wounds and here I am 3 years later - hopelessly addicted. Survival of the fittest! :-)
Naw...I quit that forum after having an arguement with the owner over haikus. He was a liberal and a shrink. A clash was bound to happen.

I started out posting quietly, listening and learning (I don't like the term "lurk", sounds like "The Blair Witch Project!"). "
As time went on,I was stunned and enchanted by the wit, knowledge, cuteness, friendship and laughter at FR. I love it here and am slightly addicted to it.

I didn't post on 11/27.
The date of the Green Acres episode using the term "wetback" the use of which got a talk-radio host in Milwaukee pulled from the air for a few days was 11/27.
I made the post several days later.
