Thanks, got it!
Ummmmm, a *ping*??
"Does that mean you wanna be my date?"
Wow I'd love to but my *heart*, Angel.
Would never survive the stress of a young, beautiful young thang like you.
Nope, no way Jose'.
And there'd be K & Neil, and well?
We must *never* permit those two to get together, y'know. ;^)
"Some sort of secret code or something?"
Yea kinda I suppose, except one thing.
...I've no idea what it means. {g}
Rus, it would be so great to meet you. I hope and pray that we both can make it. It will take some doing on my part too. My hubby does not share my love for FR. He has no interest in politics and thinks I'm a bit insane because I do. Says it's silly to worry about something you can't change. I say we can change things and I think we have proved it. I want a better country for my kids and grandkids.
wow.. this is going to be great.. Sent in my form. Check in mail tomorrow AM
who is in charge of the weather?
blacktie, no thongs, smiles required... sounds good.
wonderful on the "kiddie" arrangements you made.
Just to explain this: I was helping with the setting up of the ballroom on the day of the Ball. I was dressed in sweats and stuff. Also, I was staying in a Marriott across the street and around the corner. Since it was a snowy, slushy late afternoon, I brought my dress and all that goes with it to the hotel so that I didn't have to go back and forth. Well, when it was time to get dressed, I realized that I had forgotten to take my shoes! So ---- rather than go out in that messy weather, I wore black running shoes under this long, lovely, crepe, two-piece black dress. Of course no one noticed the shoes, as the dress was long, but I was the only one still with a smile at the end of the evening!! I think I am going to wear slippers this time!
Hey Nan, you will both have a better time If he stays home. Maybe there will be room in our room.. let me know if you will be there & I will check with my hostess.
Well *someone* had to be responsible.
And given the difference in our age?
...it had to be me. :o)
What is this I read about your NOT going? Another fella from Texas will be there. Maybe you can catch a ride on AF1?
I'm going to try my best Dolly. I just need a traveling companion. I would love to take Kathey, but don't know if I can afford two tickets. I can stay at my niece's house in Alexandria. Where are you staying?
Thanks Nutmeg, I can see it is going to be spectacular! Unfortunely, I cannot afford both CPAC and a Ball in DC, (especially with the hotel so expensive at CPAC this time :( , so the Puget Sound Chaper will be hosting one of the regional Inaugural Balls on the 20th. We are there in spirit with you - may you party all night!
hahahahahaaa! THAT would be great! :^D
Great idea!!! I may wear mine too. But, would they clash with my red beaded dress? What do you think?
(((NHH)))
will prolly stay in hotel/motel. I have two attorney cousins (both female) who live in greater DC area. both super libs & is would just not be a good place to hang hat.
I hope we both can make it Spooky. I would so love to meet you.
Oh wow Spookie, that is so great!!! So, your DH is going too?
Ha-ha! They'll all be wearing PJ's and bunny slippers, silly queeny!
