CLINTONS REWRITING HISTORY...AGAIN
By Michelle Malkin · November 30, 2004 04:24 PM
City attempts white out during Clinton festivities
From the AP: LITTLE ROCK - Seeking to distance itself from a checkered racial past, Little Rock erased "Confederate Blvd." from interstate highway signs just weeks before dignitaries arrived for the opening of Bill Clinton's presidential library.
What else would you expect from Bill "I have vivid and painful memories of black churches being burned in my own state when I was a child" Clinton and Hillary "I was named after Sir Edmund Hilary" Clinton? |
Fear not, Michelle, the Bill Clinton Library will be a big flop!!! End of story!!! The only thing he will be remembered for was enabling 911.
In fact, between Clinton and the confederates, the confederates will always get the greater number of pages in history books.....
She is from Babealonia
Malkin couldn't find anything better to write about?
Bump for AM.
Yeah. If she was a president, she'd be Babraham Lincoln.
I am committing mental adultery right now looking at this smart BEAUTIFUL woman!
Thoughtful readers who click on her blog page link will note that she's actually writing about quite a bit more than this issue today, but this of course sidesteps the point of the article.
If you might be willing to provide a coherent reason as to why the notion of the Clintons and their minions changing street signs, and thus the entire character of the community for obviously political and personal economic reasons is completely irrelevant and unworthy of her considerable talents, I'm sure that you will have many interested readers and respondents. Otherwise, such a comment sounds very much like the refrain so often heard from the Left, of "oh, it doesn't matter what the Clintons do anymore, just leave them alone!"
I have no doubt that Michelle Malkin, as well as myself, would be more than happy to leave the Clintons alone if they would be so gracious as to leave the rest of us alone as well, but it seems that they do not wish to do so. As long as the Clintons continue to exercise their considerable influence in the public square, then it's only fitting that they be subject to public examination and commentary for their actions.
That's a laugh. More like JERRY Springer and his TV show, in Clinton's world.
I get it. It's okay to bash Clinton again. We'll just conveniently forget about President Bush effusively praising him a couple weeks ago. So, anyway, I guess that's old news. Let's get on with the fun.

You are, of course, entirely welcome to post as many threads as you like bashing President Bush for simply being the gracious and courteous man that he is, although you will likely get a better reception for that sort of thing at one of the innumerable sites devoted to the rantings of hysterical Democrats.
Wonderful! A well-spent life.
He taught me a great love for reading and thank God he did. By the time I could vote (the age was 21 then) I decided to be a Republican, thanks to the biased democrats that ran the state, bunch of crooks.
There's nothing quite like being surrounded by Evil to teach a person the value of goodness, is there? Congratulations to you for seeing the light.
I do not like political correct speech.
Agreed. It has destroyed or strangled honest social discourse throughout much of the world.
I resent the change of the name of Confederate Blvd.
I'm glad to hear it. I'm not Southern, but I have a great love for our Southern friends and I respect and honor their rich history. The name Confederate is nothing to be ashamed of in any way.
I did not like Bush's PC speech,
Agreed...it was difficult for me to hear as well, but when you consider the circumstances of the event, he had little choice. To take that particular opportunity to be anything other than congenial and gracious would have made him look small and petty. He did what he could with a difficult social situation.
I voted for him and wish I could vote for him in 2008, but feel he could have made a nice polite speech without praising "lil" Bill, could have just talked about the redneck library. Ugliest thing I have ever seen besides Hillary, especially when she looses her temper.
Agreed...the library is hideous and is a blight upon the landscape.
Arkansas has a Confederate Flag Day. Clinton never did anything to change this observance.
Interesting! Perhaps he thought it would cause him too much political heat to do so?
It would have likely required a floor vote of the Arkansas legislature to do that, whereas changing street signs is a much easier affair.
You guys are great with the pictures. Michelle and Ann have you guys going. They both can write and I pay attention to them too. I hate to tell you all though that my Grandsons would steal them from you all. God bless Guys.
In a nutshell, Clinton is a big fat hypocrite.
